"The house was clean and cozy, the shower hot, and the bed comfortable. But best of all was our host, Elvis, who went above and beyond to help us out after a last-minute cancellation of our flight home. His kindness in meeting us late in the day, in driving us to pick up some food for supper, and in taking us back to the airport in the morning was unparalleled. He turned a bad day around. A special highlight was dining at Monsta Grill, Mr. Graham’s restaurant, which serves some of the best food we had in Barbados. We especially loved the lamb, BBQ chicken, and fish — every dish was incredibly flavorful and perfectly prepared. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way.
