Markree Castle

"Tout !!!! Du jardin tout mignon que nous avons parcouru a notre arrivée, a l'intérieur du château très bien entretenu et chaleureux avec la montée aux bougies et le feu de cheminée crépitant toute la soirée , en passant par la chambre cozy avec la baignoire dans la tour et le lit king size (un des plus confortables que nous ayons connu🤩). Le personnel est au top, aux petits soins et nous avons été surclassés super ! Le petit déjeuner est parfait avec un plat chaud au choix et le reste en buffet, mets de qualité et quelle chance nous avons pu déjeuner avec vue sur le jardin au petit matin 👌 Un établissement haut de gamme mais qui reste simple et chaleureux, un grand merci au personnel et bravo !👍"

"Le site est très soigné, au cœur d’un parc sublime. Le jardin est magnifique et la vue sur les environs depuis notre chambre ainsi que de toutes les pièces du château était exceptionnelle. Il est possible d’accéder à toutes les pièces du château. On s’y sent chez soi. Le confort est incroyable et la décoration somptueuse. C’est un hôtel de charme, très romantique. Le temps s’arrête à Markree."

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce château authentique et majestueux. L’attention portée à l’ameublement et à la décoration nous immerge dans son histoire. Le personnel est très agréable, le petit déjeuner excellent, la chambre très confortable."

"Le château est superbe. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Il est particulièrement agréable d’avoir accès à la majorité des pièces du château !"

"Le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur d’un lieu comme celui-ci. De plus très onéreux par rapport au menu proposé."

"We love everything about this family run hotel. What’s not to love, the sight of this castle on the drive in to the staircase at the entrance. We are in awe of this place and can’t get enough of here."

"Superb hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here, The food was exceptional. Lovely grounds and gardens and a lovely room."

"A very minor issue was we had no connection to Netflix, reception said they'd send somebody but they forgot. I fixed it myself by googling the issue!"

"Stunning property that I adored exploring and wandering around. I stayed here last minute for a birthday treat and was assigned a beautiful room with free standing bath overlooking the gardens. It’s quiet, relaxing and I loved the SMEG tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was gorgeous and coffee great too. Can’t wait to come back!"

"There isn’t much to dislike. The only thing to note is that it’s predominantly a wedding venue so I was promptly ‘kicked out’ the following day as the venue was exclusively hired - would’ve been nice to hang around a little longer but that can’t be helped. Dinner was a very formal affair and would have like less formal options / room service"
