"La petite bergerie est bien rénovée. La salle de bain est bien équipée. Les animaux de la ferme sont sympas. Moutons, poules, chiens et chats. Le couple qui nous reçoit est très gentil. Ils veillent à notre bien être tout le temps. logement entouré de nature sauvage. Le petit déjeuner est traditionnel et copieux."
"Le chemin d'accès est ardu. Pierres et terre. Chemin très en pente. Les extérieurs sont un peu sales. Des plastiques et déchets sont accrochés dans les branches des grenadier. Une ligne électrique haute tension est proche de la maison."

"Nous avons adoré notre nuit et avons regretté de ne pas être restés plus longtemps ! Mariana nous a accueilli avec un verre de jus de grenade maison qui était très bon. Les chambres et la salle de bain sont très belles, très cosy et l’environnement très apaisant ! Mariana et sa fille nous ont conseillé un excellent restaurant à coté pour le dîner (voir photo). Nous partions très tôt le lendemain matin et Mariana nous a préparé un excellent petit dej à emporter avec que des produits faits maison ! Je recommande vivement 🫶🏼"

"We were overwhelmed by the family's hospitality. Perfect to enjoy nature, get down to earth, and pet many animals if you like. The breakfast is not only made with love but almost entirely with products from Marjanna and her family's little farm. They started to share their facilities this year (2025), built charming and cozy rooms, and steadily improve the surroundings like the path to their house or places to sit outside. Now we are sure to be back in Albania soon!"

"Baba Nu is a guesthouse on a working farm with a cow, sheep, dogs and cats. The room itself is lovely, it's part of a beautifully restored barn with comfortable bed, small fridge, air conditioning, and very nice bathroom. We stayed two nights and the highlight for us was the breakfasts - these were absolutely amazing! So much food and all made on the farm. The sheep's yoghurt was amazing. Darfina and her mum were absolutely lovely too."

"Staying here was maybe the highlight of our entire Albanian road trip, such a peaceful and beautiful location with so much charm! From the moment we arrive Dafina and her wonderful family were so welcoming and lovely, making us feel at home straight away. Dafina even drove us to Mrizi i Zanave for our dinner reservation and picked us up after, so kind! Her mum made such a beautiful breakfast in the morning too! 100% recommend staying here!"
"Absolutely nothing regarding the people and accommodation, but the one thing I would recommend is that if you’re driving a rental car then maybe ask in advance if you can leave it at the bottom of the driveway and ask if someone can collect you at the bottom as it’s quite a bumpy dirt track. Also double check the Google map location as it initially took us to some random house."
"Our stay at Babanu Guesthouse was truly special. We stayed in a cozy room that used to be a stable of the family-run farm — comfortable, clean, and full of character. Dafina (the daughter, who manages the place) speaks excellent English and gave us great local tips. We felt very welcome and enjoyed learning about the farm and the area including Mrizi i Zanave (the purpose of spending a night in the area on our way to Theth). Breakfast was homemade by the mother and served on a terrace with amazing views. A peaceful, authentic stay with real warmth and hospitality."

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"We were travelling by bike and this was one of our favorite stop. Very welcoming family, very friendly even though they dont speak english (they use Google translate). They can prépare dinner for you. There isn't any other option in this small town. Or you would have to go back down to the main road."

"We had an unforgettable stay! The hosts are wonderful and truly gave us an authentic Albanian experience. The place is set in a beautiful environment, with a lovely eco-friendly and sustainable approach to living that we really appreciated. The food was absolutely amazing – delicious traditional Albanian dishes that we will never forget. The owners are incredibly kind and hospitable, and our children adored spending time with their little son.
