Hotel Valbor

"Hôtel neuf, de standing, ce qui est rare dans une ville où se cumulent plutôt les auberges et camping. Chambre très bien équipée, grande et très confortable. Très belle piscine avec vue sur la montagne. Le restaurant est aussi bon, quoiqu'un peu cher pour la région et pour les portions qui sont servies. La situation est idéale : à 20 min à pied du "centre" de Valbona, et à 30 min à pied du départ de la randonnée valbona-theth."

"On sent que l'hôtel n'est pas encore tout à fait terminé même si je n'ai eu à subir aucun travaux. Le personnel manque un peu de repère, par exemple il n'y a pas de carte des boissons. Vous commandez et découvrez le prix quand la note arrive. Le personnel est néanmoins très engagé, et très attentif aux demandes. Un grand merci à eux pour avoir organisé mon petit déjeuner et mon déjeuner à emporter pour la randonnée valbona-theth."

"The hotel was excellent, with a very friendly staff. The hotel has a hammam and sauna, but you need to ask for them to be turned on before you arrive (since it takes about two hours to heat up). You also need to request all the equipment (robes, towels, something to scrub the body, etc.). The rooms were good, but the breakfast was somewhat lacking—there was no coffee (you have to buy it) or any other hot drink."

"Our stay at the Valbor hotel was very good. The hotel was located in the most beautiful part of Valbona. The room had a very nice view, was large, clean, had all the necessary things and above all very comfortable. The food was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We will come back to Valbor again!"

"The property was located in the heart of one of the most beautiful gems in Albania, and with its offerings, creates a magnificent option to enjoy the stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the restaurant offers a variety of dishes, traditional and more; the staff is friendly and welcoming; and my favourite the pool, we had a short stay, bur we still made the time to enjoy it. I will come back for sure, and I highly recommend it to whoever is interested in the area."

"Great location and beautiful surroundings. The hotel is modern, clean and well presented. The swimming pool is perfect to relax next to on a warm summers day. This is especially nice after long hikes in the mountains!"

"Perfect location for Theth-Valbone hike, as it is located quite close to the start (or end) of the hike. Very quiet. The beds were somewhat hard, but I actually like that, so i slept very well! I had the best mountainview I have ever had in a hotel. Also the swimmingpool was great: it is big, so you can actually swim in the pool, and the view is amazing! Big room, has everything you might need, including telephone, fridge, cooker to make tea and coffee, and safety deposit box. Staff was friendly, and most spoke English. Would definitely stay againg!"

"The hotel had some curious things. Like: they had a safety deposit box in the room, but is wasn't attached to the wall or floor, so a thief can simply take the whole box and quietly open it somewhere else. Also the room wasn't cleaned during my stay, although I stayed 3 nights. I didn't mind really, but with the luxury look you would definitely expect them to. They didn't succeed to give me a keycard that was valid for the 3 nights of my stay, so I had to renew it every day. One day the man at the reception didn't know how to reset the card and gave me a keycard of the staff, that gave access to all the rooms. Like I said, some curious things, but I hope they are still learning...."
