"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"J'ai adoré l'accueil de Jocelyn et son mari. L'appartement était tout confort, très cocooning, très propre. Tout était à disposition avec même un guide d'accueil permettant de connaitre toutes les bonnes adresses de la ville et tout ce qu'il y avait à visiter ! On a adoré !!"

The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

Nothing was not to like.

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Villa Acasa, où nous avons passé quatre nuits. L’équipe d’accueil et de service est absolument incroyable, toujours souriante et d’une gentillesse sans faille. La propriétaire est également adorable et toujours prête à nous aider. Le cadre est magnifique, tout est parfaitement propre et harmonieux, et la nourriture y est délicieuse. Nous les remercions énormément et espérons pouvoir y revenir dès que possible !"

Mais ce qui a vraiment rendu notre séjour exceptionnel, c’est le personnel. Toute l’équipe est attentionnée, professionnelle et toujours souriante. Un immense merci tout particulièrement à Thomas, qui nous a énormément facilité notre séjour aux Seychelles. Il a été d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité remarquables, toujours prêt à aider et à donner de précieux conseils. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. The air conditioning was rationed a bit much

"L’emplacement était merveilleux ainsi que la rénovation de cette belle maison traditionnelle. Le propriétaire que nous avons vu le lendemain nous a apporté des fruits frais au petit déjeuner, une attention délicate et appréciée. Il était charmant et très intéressant sur l’histoire et le patrimoine de son pays exposé dans sa maison avec passion.Un grandmerci a lui.."

Nous hesitions à entrer dans la maison ne sachant pas que la porte était ouverte et qu’il n’y avait aucun réceptionniste.

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

Prévoir tout de même des boules quies pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger vous entendrez assez tôt l'animation !Le repas du soir était délicieux et partagé avec les autres voyageurs !"
