"Tout etait parfait du début à la fin !!! L’un des plus bel hôtel que j’ai pu faire. J’avais initalement réservé une belle suite, et le concierge a pris la liberté de nous upgrader en nous installant dans l’une, si ce n’est la plus belle suite : avec une terrasse spacieuse, piscine privée et une vue imprenable sur le port de St-Barth… Le personnel est au petit soin. On se sent privilégié, exclusif… aucune fausse note ! La nourriture des restaurants (que ce soit petit-déjeuner, diner au Beefbar, ou lunch avec le partenaire Shellona sur la plage) y est excellente. Le chef a meme accepté de preparer le dessert préféré de ma conjointe, qui n’etait pourtant pas sur la carte. Nous n’avons pas l’habitude de retourner deux fois au même endroit, mais nous ferons probablement une exception pour cet hôtel. Merci à tout le personnel, et en particulier à Romain et Estelle."

"A magical place. We had the Carl Suite with a patio and plunge pool overlooking Gustavia Harbor. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating! Complimentary Clicquot upon our arrival with fresh fruit and sweets. Amazing restaurant with the best pepper steak I have had in a long time. Considering the other restaurants on the island, we found the restaurant extremely reasonable. Complimentary lounge chairs at Shell Beach. I can’t think of anything that was overlooked, and this is our 9th time on the island. We have stayed pretty much everywhere and rented a number of villas and hotels. This is first class and five stars!"

"Very pleasant staff throughout — airport transfer, front desk, restaurant, housekeeping. Location has splendid views over Gustavia harbor, and relatively easy access to the restaurants and shops. Though the hotel is not on the beach, it is a short walk from a lovely public beach, Shell Beach at Anse de Grand Galet, where Shellona bar/restaurant is located. Breakfast food is somewhat standard, but the terrace overlooking the sea is delightful, with cool morning breezes and no direct sun."

"My room had an annoying very loud periodic vibration related to the water pipes. Whenever the pressurizing pump went on, the pipes vibrated and some water was forced out of the shower head even though the valve was closed. Fortunately this didn’t occur during the night. I can’t believe I’m the first person to observe this; the hotel should solve this problem. The bathroom also had an unusual feature in that the toilet and the open shower were in the same enclosure. This meant that for hours after using the shower, I had to walk over wet floor to use the toilet."
