Coco Beach Resort

"The resort is absolutely beautiful with a stunning out look over the ocean and most of the common being located around the pool area which is massive. There are numerous sections to the pool to cater for different needs. The highlight for us was the undercover heated section around the swim up bar which was perfect for happy hour in the rain. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are prompt at dealing with any situation. We had a look around at some other resorts and felt that Coco Beach (although a fair way out of town), is by far the most beautiful."

"The resort is 20 minutes out of San Pedro on a golf cart, but we actually enjoyed being slightly away from the hustle and bustle. It was a pleasant and fun trip into town, so the distance didn't deter us at all. While our bed was very comfortable, our son's pull-out bed was unusable with a metal bar down the middle. Perhaps for a smaller child it would have been suitable. Midway through our first night, he pulled the mattress onto the floor, but it was so worn and thin that he was still uncomfortable."

"There are way too many bugs at the golf cart area of the property. I have many bug bites all over my body. Also the TV in the room should not be so difficult to operate. Also need better instructions on how to call the from desk from the phone in the room."

"We stayed in the Casitas. It was amazingly nice. Far better than the photos showed. The bed was perfect and the staff went so far beyond my expectations."

"Water pressure was pretty low but not horrible. Cart rentals were high but getting a rental delivered from an outside company was easy."

"This is a beautiful resort that has full accommodations and an outstanding staff who are there to make your stay memorable. The pool is amazing. The pool bar is a welcome break from the heat. The restaurant on-site is first class."

"Unfortunately, the resort location is not near downtown San Pedro and its shopping and restaurants. Golf carts are the main mode of transportation to downtown, which can be a little hectic and chaotic."

"Coco Beach Resort was just as relaxing and beautiful as we had hoped for! The staff were truly amazing as we had the stomach flu when we arrived and they did everything to help us feel more comfortable, and even kept checking in on us throughout our stay! We had to keep changing the plans for our snorkeling excursion, but the concierge was so kind and helpful and we were able to have an amazing snorkel trip toward the end of our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and we loved sitting out on the deck. The pools were simply amazing, different vibes from the waterslide pool to the pool bar area and the hot tub, depending on whatever you were feeling! There were plenty of pool chairs with umbrellas for relaxing and hammocks. The beach area was kept very clean and there was a nice walking path along the ocean to explore. We had several meals at the pool bar and they were all quite good! Overall a truly lovely resort with wonderful and caring staff!"

"After returning home with many more mystery bug bites than expected, I think screens on the patio doors might be a useful improvement as I suspect we got mosquitos coming in the room at night :( The resort is also at a distance from San Pedro, so unless you rent a golf cart (which we didn't ) you really are limited to the resort area and the few shops/restaurants in the near vicinity."

"O Hotel é muito bonito, a beira mar, mas uma praia muito pequena . O ,quarto era grande , ótima sacada com vista para piscina, decoração bonita , as pessoas do staff bastante atenciosa ."

"o Hotel fica muito longe da área central da ilha , tive de alugar um carro de golfe, para poder circular, já que não ha nenhum tipo de transporte publico na área , as estradas são horrorosas . As piscinas são lindas , mas praia praticamente não tem , uma pena porque o mar é bem quentinho"

"We enjoyed our stay here! The staff was excellent and super helpful (shoutout to Reiner). The rooms were also very spacious and clean. The pools and hot tub were well maintained and very nice after a long day exploring the rest of the island."

"Not a huge deal, but the resort is a 20 minute golf cart drive from the main town so just keep that in mind while booking!"
