"The Mankwe tented retreat is a little gem of a place, strategically located between Moremi and Khwai, with a good access to Mababe area and thus offering a wide variety of habitats with very good biodiversity. The tents are comfortable and the setting is very secluded and peaceful ... we were the only people staying at it at the time! ;) The team are very friendly and the game drives in particular very good - Op deserves high praise!"

Food options could be a bit more varied, but the cook is rather responsive. The pool seemed in need of a refresh.

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"L'emplacement sur une petite plage privée idyllique, la proximité du récif qu'on peut rejoindre grâce aux paddles prêtés par Luke. Les sunsets, l'hébergement hyper mignon. Faré est tout près en scooter, pour faire des courses ou un resto."

Il manque un point d'eau côté cuisine, mais c'est apparemment en projet.

"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"Nous avons aimé arriver au camping par une piste tout au bout d'un long chemin, après avoir quitté la zone des bars et restaurants. Nous avons loué 3 nuits, en couple (107 ans à nous deux), une petite tente QUECHUA. Très bon matelas avec draps et petite table à disposition, le tout très propre. Le camping est rustique et rudimentaire, mais avec tout ce qu'il faut sans s'encombrer : réfrigérateur commun, gaz commun à disposition, papier toilette dans les sanitaires et surtout sanitaires très propres. Le personnel est très sympathique et souriant. Enfin, le camping est très calme, avec la mer et une très longue plage qui longe l'établissement, avec peu de monde (transats et parasols à disposition). Réveil par le bruit des vagues assuré. Le camping JUNGLE In BORSH, c'est le paradis du bout du monde, avec quand même des restaurants et épiceries pour se restaurer, à moins de 500 mètres. On a adoré l'endroit, que nous recommandons."
