Rumipaxi Lodge

"Wifi et eau chaude. Cheminée dans le salon. Proximité avec le parc du Cotopaxi. Petit déjeuner gargantuesque ! Autre repas possible à un prix plus que raisonnable : 7$ entrée, plat. Luz et ses filles Paulina et Sonia nous ont accueilli comme à la maison. Elles ont été aux petits soins avec nous. Ça a été difficile de les quitter. C'est de loin le meilleur endroit où nous ayons logé pendant notre séjour de 3 semaines en Équateur. Luz tient également un petit magasin à côté de sa maison et ses filles organisent des excursions pour le Mont Cotopaxi."

"Emplacement au top La famille est adorable et vous proposera des activités comme la rando jusqu’au refuge pour pas très cher. Les petits déjeuners copieux Propose également des repas le soir très bon pour quelques dollars Le cadre, les lamas et animaux dans le jardin donnent une ambiance très chaleureuse à l’ensemble. Probablement le meilleur hébergement de notre séjour en équateur, hésitez pas !"

"The staff were amazing, attentive and helpful. The family made sure that the fire was always going to keep us warm, gave us milk for teas and coffees daily and made sure all our other needs were met. The cooking was £8 per person and did not disappoint, it was very delicious and filling."

"The only thing we could potentially recommend would be an option as to what we could have for dinner as we were given what they were cooking my that night - which was still very tasty."

"If I could give this place more than ten, I would. Our stay there was wonderful and Paulina was simply the loveliest host I have ever met on my travels. Her mother also cooked us a three course meal that was delicious and enormous - and for a ridiculously low price. The Lodge has a variety of accommodations and a lovely lounge with wood fire. Outside are two llamas and two sheep! The location is on the road from the PanAmericana to the gate of the Cotopaxi National Park so is perfectly situated. Paulina is extremely knowledgable about the area and we were so grateful that she spoke English so that we could talk to her and learn from her. We had originally planned to stay somewhere else but a medical issue required a change of plans - and we are so grateful that we ended up at Rumipaxi Lodge."

"My last time in this town, I stayed at the hotel right next to this one. It was full, so I chose this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. It is a small, family run place, and has a nice mini-farm with llamas and other animals. I was the only guest so was given a personal tour of the farm, including introductions to all the animals! They offered to make dinner for me which I accepted. It was delicious. Breakfast was just as good. They arranged my shuttle to Cotopaxi as well as a bike rental. I returned to Quito by bus, and they walked me to the bus stop area and made sure I got on the correct bus!"

"Es un emprendimiento familiar, muy agradable, limpio, calmado, confortable, sencillo, con personas muy amables. Leer un libro en la noche con la fogata encendidad alejada del bullicio de la ciudad no tiene precio. Mi mascota y yo encantados. El desayuno muy rico. Venden artesanías y ropa también como souvenirs, muy lindos. Tienen un perro negrito hermoso 💚."
