"Hotel un peu vieux mais très correcte. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais il fait froid comme il n’ya pas de chauffage. Personnel très accueillant et aimable"

"The Zayed Hotel is a hidden gem in Cairo! The staff is extremely friendly and competent - especially managers Ashraf and Ahmed Mamdouh at the reception, who we were lucky to get to deal with during our stay: they even showed nursing skills helping my mother who had injured helself a bit during the trip. The beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfast is absolutely amazing and home-cooked, with a view on the park and on Cairo. There is a sign near the elevator that reads: 'Come as a guest, leave as a friend', and it could not be more true! I truely adored my stay at Zayed, with the attention of Ahmed, Ashraf, Mario, Muhammad 'the bellboy', and all the wonderful staff there. It sent me straight to the heart of Cairo and of Egypt. Thank you."

"Maybe there could be 'signs' available in the rooms, to leave on the door handle, if one wants their room cleaned or not? But anyway it was always clean-and beautiful :)."

"The room was a suite at a very good price that had two large rooms and a living area, to easily accomodate a family of 4. The included breakfast was fresh and the location is walking distance to shopping and a variety of restaurants. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended."
