"We stayed at the hotel for one night. Contactless check-in. When checking in, we were unable to get into the apartment immediately because one of the hotel guests took the key to the front door. The hotel administration quickly resolved the problem by providing us with an apartment from a different entrance. The apartment is spacious, located on the ground floor. Free parking is available next to the hotel. Guests have access to a kitchenette with everything they need to cook, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. There was also coffee, tea, oatmeal, and cookies, which was a nice bonus. We would gladly stay in the apartment again, provided that the comments about cleanliness are taken into account."

"Comfortable beds, quiet. Had a good sleep and fast reply for questions via messages. We also had two additional friends extra price was decent. There was also coffee for the morning which was nice. But mainly the quietness we appreciated, and the helpfulness. Check in easy, Convinient and sufficient information."

"I woke up at 6:30 because of the strong smell of urine and sewage. In the morning, I also had a headache and my lungs felt uncomfortable. There is a noticeable smell of pipes and sewage in the apartment, along with another distinct, unpleasant odor. While lying on the pillow, I could distinctly smell urine, which was very unpleasant. I really hope that all my belongings haven’t absorbed these odors. I really didn’t like the check-in process. Usually, after booking, an automatic message is sent with instructions, but that didn’t happen here. It took me one hour to finally receive the door code, which was quite frustrating. I messaged the property, called, and even sent messages and calls via WhatsApp, but there was no response. I had to spend 15 minutes on the phone with Booking Assistance to get help. I have spent money to be on the line with booking customer support and wanted to cancel booking since could not check in. It was very unpleasant to book a room and realize that you might not be able to get in, especially considering the area. The owner should set up an automatic message that informs guests how to access the property and what information they need to provide. This would make the stay much smoother. Alternatively, they should limit check-in hours if timely communication cannot be guaranteed. I also believe the hosts need to be more patient. Unclear instructions in complete darkness in the middle of the night are stressful, and getting irritated in such a situation is not helpful. Though, I’m not surprised, as the hosts seem to be Russian, and that kind of abruptness seems to be in their nature. Broken shower holder and window shield adjuster, stained furniture. Extremely dark when checking in. You will need a flashlight to get inside. Idea was to sleep well before the evening flight, but I could not breath in this apartment and had to leave early to get some air, having slept only 5 hours."

"Neat, clean, spacious & quiet apartment. More pleasant on inside than looks from the outside and was great value for our family of five. Had 4 single beds & a sofa bed that could sleep two. Self checkin. We didn’t, but you could organise use of sauna, charcoal grill or shared laundry facilities at an extra cost. It has plenty of free parking. Less than 20 minutes drive to Lappeenranta or Imatra. Our apartment even had a piano! Happy guests :-)"

"Couple of power points didn’t seem to work. There were enough available though. Wish a larger sheet was provided to cover sofa bed."

"The kitchen does not have an oven, if we needed make a meal, the only option was the stove (induction). The surrounding is calm but it might feel a little uneasy for lone traveller. I don't know for sure how safe or unsafe the neighbourhood is."

"Everything was very comfortable: contactless check-in, clear instructions for check-in, very good mattresses, clean, parking opposite the entrance. Not the most picturesque place, but it is very pleasant to be there."
