"The property was situated in a very beautiful, tranquil rural location. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable and warm as October was quite cool. The host, Irene, was pleasant and helpful. There is adequate free car parking. Sitting in the sun in the garden is a pleasure. The property is well suited to exploring the Jura area. Baume les Messieurs has Grottoes (visitable in season) and an abbey. There is a good cheese museum at Poligny and a wine museum at Arbois. The hilltop village of Chateau Chalon is close by. Wine tastings can be had locally. On a clear day the Pic d'Aigle, a rough climb up rocky steps to the top is worth it for the views. This is about an hour away by car. The scenery is different in a good way, There is ample opportunity for walks close by."

"There are toilets and washbasins upstairs and downstairs but the shower is downstairs only. Once used to it things worked alright. As advised by our host visitors need to take their own bed linen and towels."
