El Remate is a gem and so nice to stay here rather than transiting back to flores after visiting tikal and before moving eastward to Belize."

"The hostel is a little oasis on the lake and I just fell in love with the location and what they made out of it. The hostel itself is so cute and pittoresque. The staff is very friendly and chill. Riccardo was so nice as to find me a last minute solution for my accommodation there in the Semana Santa (everything was completely full!). Plus, they have very comfy beds and atmosphere. Very recommended"
