"Un écrin de verdure pour une charmante bâtisse. Même si la route est cabossée pour y arriver elle reste relativement accessible. Une fois sur place, la vue est à couper le souffle. Les chambres sont bien équipées et spacieuses. L'air climatisé est en option mais des ventilateurs sont à disposition. Il y a de quoi garer la voiture dans la cour de la maison. Mais le lieu ne fait pas tout. David, l'hôte, fait toute la différence. D'une gentillesse incomparable, il est à l'écoute des désagréments (pression de l'eau), présent tout en étant discret, nous savons que l'on peut compter sur lui. Il a rendu le séjour inoubliable."

"Everything: location, interior design, hospitality, cleanliness, the fact that there is a private gated parking for the guests! I felt like visiting someone’s house, not a hotel, it was so cozy and calm. I will definitely stay there again in the future!"

"J'ai apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, la propreté de la chambre. Le quartier était calme et l'arrêt de bus tout proche, possibilité également de garer la voiture dans la rue. Les commerces sont à 15 min à pied donc très pratique. Très bon rapport qualité prix, je recommande sans hésiter."

"Since I read the book who the owner Dorota wrote, I really wanted to visit Vanilla House. And it was as I imagined, even better!!! The sound of the ocean at night...The breeze.. The food... The view... I loved it!!!!"

"The staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient Lots of good places to eat, supermarket with imported goods & sundry shops all at walking distance There's a mini refrigerator, ironing board & washing machine for such a good price!"

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

Gostaria de poder ficar mais dias . Tem muitas atividades de esportes no lago . E poder ficar tempo no ambiente. Quase igual estar em casa.

"Nous avons passé un beau séjour à villa éden rock. Jacques est un hôte très accueillant. Il nous a très bien renseigner sur l histoire de la martinique, sa culture et ils nous a bien conseillé sur les activités à faire à proximité. L établissement est très bien situé."

La petite chambre était un peu humide mais très propre.

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

We did not come across anything we disliked although the room wasn’t as spacious as what it seemed on the web.

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

Seulement la faiblesse de la connexion Wi-Fi . On peut s'en passer une journée sauf si on en a besoin pour travailler.
