"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Maison très confortable et très bien équipée. Idéalement placée pour visiter l'ensemble des îles, à 1h20 seulement de l'île de Vidoy au nord-est. Petit supermarché à deux pas et office du tourisme (d'où partent les excursions en bateau pour la visite des falaises) à deux pas aussi."

L'absence de contact direct avec le propriétaire ou le gérant de l'établissement. Les clés sont remises et restituées à l'office de tourisme de façon très impersonnelle (même si le personnel sur place est charmant). Cela n'a pas été un problème pour moi, mais à savoir selon votre mobilité : escalier plutôt raide pour accéder aux chambres (j'ai mis la photo en lieu et place des photos de la salle de bain que je n'ai pas photographiée)

Concernant le logement en lui-même, vous aurez le dernier étage privatisé pour vous. Le lit est très confortable, et tout a été refait à neuf il n'y a pas longtemps avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit déjeuner était lui aussi très sympathique avec notamment du café et une salade russe maison !"

Il n'y a rien que nous n'avons pas apprécié, l'établissement correspond aux photos et est très agréable.

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! Bagno molto piccolo. Se si arriva a tarda serata non mi pare ci siano ristoranti dove mangiare (c'è una fast food a 600m ma forse facilmente raggiungibile poichè il vialone delle bancarelle (dove c'è il locale) è chiuso.

"Good place for a getaway with your wife and children; nevertheless, it's pretty far from the city, so you would need to have a car. There are several villas with lots of rooms."

It's noisy in the morning. It may not be comfortable for the guys who like to sleep for a long time in the high season. Also, our apartment has a separate balcony from the other room, so if your neighbors like to smoke in the morning, you will feel that as well. But if you are an early bird, this pearl is for you.
