We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

"L'hôtesse des lieux est une personne très généreuse, des déjeuner copieux, jus frais et un très bon café! L'endroit est vraiment magnifique, un grand espace de stationnement, bien protéger et surtout très propres. Nous étions dans une chambre hors de la maison principale et nous étions très bien, à retourner, lit confortable, douche avec eau chaude et beaucoup de pression. Loin de tout, mais pour des nuits avec sommeil un endroit idéal avant un départ pour l'aéroport de Quito."

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.
