"Myfarm est un lieu permaculturel d'une grande richesse, il ne s'agit pas de faire du tourisme classique mais d'apporter une aide au développement de l'éducation en Gambie. On peut simplement y séjourner mais aussi participer à la vie du lieu : construction, éducation, entretien, jardinage si l'envie se manifeste. Sans pression :) C'est une formidable communauté d'entraide et de partage."

Attention, le WiFi n'est disponible qu'à un endroit précis, pas dans les chambres. Prévoir une sim locale si besoin de connexion :)

"It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.

A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.
