"L’accueil a été au top. Le personnel est très chaleureux et à l’écoute. La piscine offre une vue incroyable sur la mer avec un cadre magnifique : petit bar très cosy. La villa est entièrement fonctionnelle, propre avec tout le nécessaire. Un petit déjeuné nous a même été placé au frigo avec soins."

"Tout a été parfait, de la chambre à la vue, aux animaux présents mais surtout un service EXCELLENT de la part du personnel (mention spéciale à Sudi ainsi qu’au chef qui fait une super cuisine), on se sent comme à la maison mais dans un 5 étoiles !"

"Juste le fait de ne pas pouvoir se baigner devant l’hôtel, les coraux et les algues rendent la chose plus difficile, mais le décor reste dingue ! Il suffit de marcher 10mn le long de la plage pour échapper à cela."

They went above and beyond in everything they did, and since we were almost the only guests at the time, we received full attention in the best possible way. The food was absolutely amazing - every meal felt thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and ideal for unwinding. It’s worth noting that the beach right outside has quite a bit of seaweed, so it’s not the best place for swimming. But if your priority is tranquility, great service, and fantastic food, this place delivers on all of it."

"Sonrisa is a hidden gem..tranquil, quite, serene,peaceful,name it! The Estate is small and intimate making the staff have an eye to detail. The villas are exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished. I loved the fact that they provide breakfast substitutes for you to prepare at your own time...so no need to rush for breakfast. The location is far off Diani, but that was not a problem. The hotel is kid friendly and my son had a blast staying there. The meals are extremely tasty....the list is endless. Sonrisa EXCEEDED my expectations. Antonia is kind and very helpful. We loved our stay and cant wait to come back soon."

"We loved having the property to ourselves and being treated like friends by Antonia and everyone else of the staff. The place is beautiful out of the noise of the bars and restaurants that are north of the property. Spacious villas, nice pool and comfy sunbeds. They replenished our fridge every day with fruits and eggs and left us fresh bread. We also got a lovely candlelit dinner by the pool, all excellently cooked. Ask Antonia for activities nearby (snorkeling, water sports, excursions) and she will advise and organize on your behalf too. Would certainly rebook."

"Sonrisa is south of the Diani Beach Centre so one needs to drive on a bumpy road for some 10 minutes. And I think it would be good to sort out the issue of drinking water by using water filters (totally respect the property’s striving to reduce single use plastic products). The sun chairs at the beach are in a beautiful position but access to the sea could be made a little easier."

"The sea is rocky and not terribly easy to access, you have to walk along the coast a few hundred meters. It's a lovely walk, so I would still go back and stay with great pleasure."

"Nice grounds / gardens. Comfortable spacious villa. Aircon on lounge and bedroom. Nice big swimming pool. Direct access to the beach. Good food."

"Remoteness. The property is lovely and well appointed set in beautiful grounds. The only negative for me is that it js located a fair distance down an unmade road which adds 15-20 minutes on the journey when you’re trying to get a taxi to an alternative restaurant / bar / nightclub."

"Quiet! The villa was spacious and comfortable with aircon in both the bedroom and living area. Appreciated the daily bread with fruit and eggs - the passion fruit was lovely! Loved the music and vibe by the lounge/pool area. Staff were attentive and helpful."

"It was a bit difficult to get boda/tuktuk from the location as it is at the south end of Galu beach. The food menu did not change while we were there but what they offered was VERY GOOD!"
