"Nesat is close to sandy beaches and small eating places Khmer style mostly. The Barang village has a handfull of little guesthouse/eating places including the Cornerstone which manages the Chateaux and has excellent food, good coffee and friendly people. The place is quite new and the room was fine with a good size bathroom, aircon/fan etc. Outside there are other places to sit and relax. There are music and other events at the village though not the weekend I visited. The road is now very good and was about 2.5hr door to door from Phnom Penh in a car."
"It was quite quiet when we were there so all good. Just a couple of suggestions though - the bathroom had half blacked out windows but if it were busy then these are still not very private. Google maps has the wrong entrance so you need to go to Cornerstone which is not so clear when arriving. The internet is apparently very good but I didnt manage to connect maybe helpful to write the password somewhere. If it gets busier I would guess sorting out a bit more parking area would be a good idea."

"Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit mais avons été très bien accueillis. Chambre simple et très propre, salle de bain partagée propre.. Les propriétaires sont adorables et toujours prêts à aider, notamment pour nous réserver un tuk-tuk pour l’aéroport. Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité"

"After some correspondence nitial difficulty in getting the correct location/address, things worked out and checking was easy enough. The location was great only a short walk to Aeon mall, short ride to the night markets and river aide. Walking distance to awesome Bassac Lane. The owner Lily is absolutely lovely and happy to assist with what you need to be comfortable. Only downside was the mattress albeit comfortable was uneven and felt lumpy, but comfortable enough I could still get a good night's sleep. All in all I would recommend Lily's House to any travellers going to Phnom Penh."
