"L’accueil chaleureuse, la vue magnifique. Le gérant nous a planifié toute une soirée et journée visite : spectacle de danse local, le temple, le Big Bouddha, fabrique de thé, jardin botanique, jardin Ayurvedique avec explications, fabrique de bois. C’était vraiment très enrichissant. Le déjeuner était très complet, fruits, œufs, café."

"La vue de la suite est imprenable, le personnel est très attentionné, le déjeuner était très bon. Tout le monde est tellement gentil. Nous avions une journée complète à Kandy et nous l’avons passé avec Ajith, notre chauffeur de tuk tuk. Nous avons visité une usine de thé, un jardin de médecine Ayurvedic, les jardins royaux, vu un spectacle et été témoin d’une cérémonie au temple de la dent. Ajith était gentil et patient avec nous, il nous a même amené à un restaurant avec at la suite. Red Hill Kandy est un peu plus loin de la ville, à 10-15 minutes de Tuk Tuk, mais la vue de la chambre en vaut la peine. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement. Mention spéciale à celui qui s’occupait de nous préparer à déjeuner, nous ne nous rappelons plus son nom, mais il était tellement gentil, il nous a amené du thé le premier soir que nous sommes arrivés et il s’est si bien occupé de nous!"
"il manquait quelques rideaux dans la chambre, donc Le Soleil nous réveillait tôt, nous aurions aimé pouvoir laissé la porte ouverte en dormant mais il n’y avait pas de moustiquaire, mais ce ne sont que de légers détails, nous resterions à nouveau ici."
"Chulanka, the owner, is a top guy. Any issues we had, he sorted, and gave us good advice on where to visit in Kandy. The facilities are basic, but provide everything u really need. I understand he's in the process of doing the place up so facilities will likely improve in the future. Free breakfast is always a bonus. The highlight of it all though, is the view. Incredible!"

RedHill has definitely an amazing location up on the hill; balcony in the room is top 👌 Breakfast is so delicious with plenty of fresh fruits 😋 Make sure you go on a daily tour with Anjana, Curlankas friend - he will show you some of the best places around Kandy. His warm energy and friendly guides will help you soak into a best possible of Kandy's vibe. Thank you guys, because of you this wasn't just a typical tourist visit but a whole experience ❤️"

"The big selling point of this homestay is the breathtaking views, without doubt the nicest I’ve seen in my time in Sri Lanka. And can’t go without mentioning the incredible host. He is such a nice guy, he made me feel so welcomed. It might seem a bit far away from the center but once you see the views you really won’t mind spending a few extra minutes on the Tuktuk."

"The view is incredible! It feels special to have your own balcony, perfect place to take in the views of Kandy and at a fair price. Our favourite place to eat was Balaji Dosia close to the lake. It was easy to get a tuk tuk with the hotel or use uber for taxi up and down the hill with bags - worth the trip for the views! Bedding was clean and beds comfy. Lots of ideas of things to do in the area from the hotel owners - they are super friendly and will make you feel at home."
"Mosquitoes aren’t much of a problem here but if there was the option it would be great to have a net for night time. Bathrooms held the damp air and difficult to dry out."

"This was a great place to stay in kandy. 2km away from city. Calming location, very helpful staff. Owner was super nice. He was really helpful and take care of everything that we need. Huge bath room. Hot water system super powerful. Clean bedding. And THE BREAKFAST IS SUPERB. there were food that we couldn’t finish. Yummy srilankan breakfast."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
