"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.

"Excellent location in the forest near a farm house. Host was exceptionally nice and caring. We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast and dinner was very good."

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

"Situé à flan de falaise, Gente d’Aqui fut le logement coup de cœur de notre séjour. Outre l’emplacement idéal pour visiter la côte est de l’île et les cabanons très confortables, nous avons été séduits par la gentillesse de notre hôte Joao, du cuisinier José, et des jeunes du village avec qui nous avons partagé un délicieux dîner. A recommander à 100% si vous voulez découvrir la vraie vie de Sao Tomé !"

Clignotement du détecteur incendie dans la chambre toute la nuit, fonctionnement normal mais qui est gênant, peut être possible de le masquer.

"Super place for the price. I had my own room with air con and a toilet and shower. It’s 800m about to the bus station and walking distance to most restaurants and stores in Savusavu. Practically next door to the historic Planters Club. Ron the owner is really kind and at the beginning drove me around to show me what I could do in Savusavu. I had a wonderful stay"

Sometimes it can get a bit noisy if the early morning ferry leaves for Suva a couple of times a week. I stayed in the front facing g the ocean. Maybe it was quieter at the back? But really there were no complaints

"Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits au total dans ce merveilleux ecolodge, au rapport qualité-prix imbattable ! Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées (climatisation, bouilloire, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes). La literie est confortable. Mais ce que nous retenons surtout, c’est la gentillesse de Lolita qui gère le domaine, ainsi que de tout le personnel. Le délicieux petit déjeuner est composé d’une assiette chaude (pancakes maison ou œufs cuisinés), accompagnée de fruits frais savoureux et d’un porridge local à tester absolument. Nous recommandons également l’adresse pour le dîner : nous nous sommes régalés plusieurs soirs du pavé de poisson grillé, de son taro et de ses légumes vapeurs (les plats principaux sont à 30 talas, soit 10€, ce qui est très bon marché pour les Samoa). Situé à 25 minutes du cœur d’Apia, le domaine est niché sur les hauteurs dans un paradis naturel entre cascades et plantes multicolores. C’est vraiment l’adresse à connaître pour explorer Upolu !"

"Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Altus Highland Lodges, au cœur du calme des montagnes albanaises. Les hôtes sont particulièrement accueillants, disponibles et de très bon conseil pour découvrir les incontournables de la région. Les cabanes sont spacieuses, confortables et très bien conçues. L’accès se fait par une route en terre sur les derniers kilomètres, mais elle reste praticable avec prudence, même en voiture de tourisme. Nous avons été enchantés par la tranquillité des lieux, la qualité de l’accueil et surtout par les paysages magnifiques, avec un lever de soleil absolument inoubliable. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation."
