"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.

Rien de particulier, tout était vraiment parfait pour nous.

"The people were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a free lift into town and back and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful next to the water with a lovely log cabin. I'd definitely stay again, especially in summer as it's a great alternative to Ciudad del Este."

It can be a bit cold if the weather isn't good.

"If you want a peaceful, calm and stunning environment, this is the place. It is simple, but has everything you need in a beautiful setting. Perfect for nature lovers who don't want to be on top of other guests."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"Чудове місце для відпочинку сімʼєю. Дуже задоволені. Було дуже затишно і комфортно. Велика територія біля котеджа – є все необхідне для барбекю, альтанки і качелі для дітей. Відпочивали взимку, але в приміщенні було дуже тепло. Є санвузли у кожній спальні, що дуже зручно. Окреме спасибі пані Олі, адміністратору котеджа. Турбувалася про нас, щоб ми почувалися максимально комфортно. Плануємо повернутися сюди влітку 🙂"

Трошки замалий холодильник. Було б добре, щоб він був трохи більшим і мав трохи більшу морозильну камеру. Також не зайвими були б ще кілька кастрюль та великі миски.

"La situation près de l'aéroport et calme malgré cette proximité. La personne qui servait le petit déjeuner est très aimable et serviable. De plus, c'est un vrai plaisir de lui parler en français. la chambre est très grande, au calme et face à la mer. A signaler qu'il n'y a pas de restaurant pour le déjeuner et dîner, par contre le centre commercial et un bar ne sont qu'à 8 mn de marche."

j'ai trouvé que l'accueil laisser un peu à désirer. J'aurais aimé que l'on m'aide à monter ma valise d'autant que je ne savais pas où j'allais.

"The place is so nice. Restaurant is great & so are the rooms. The food was so good & the chef came out to tell us about the dishes, lovely!"

Arrived at 11.30am to some "surprises" from the night before & no beer in the restaurant - someone had a great night! Good for them! Cleaning was dealt with quickly & beer was eventually delivered. A one-off, I'm sure..

"Tout ! Nous avons été accueillis par les parents de l'hôte qui était en déplacement professionnel, et le petit chat roux. L'endroit était magique, nous avons passé un très bon moment, et les repas étaient très bons. La dégustation des produits locaux était aussi un moment agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cette endroit hors du temps."

The other villa R3 was not bad just that it could use some improvements in the spare bedrooms

"The room was comfortable, there was a microwave, electric heating and a kettle so we could make our own food. We needed batteries for the air condition (it was cold), they delivered very fast. Thanks!"

The stairs (we needed to carry our stuff)

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

La 1ere chambre que l’on a eu. Agencement à revoir. WC juste juste séparés par une porte sans cloison jusqu’au plafond et avec la porte sur les genoux. Je n’ai pas pour habitude de faire des réclamations mais je me suis quand même permis de signaler le manque de confort et de qualité du logement. La propriétaire a tout de suite pris en compte ma demande et nous a déplacés dans un logement nettement plus confortable. Encore merci !

"Situé à flan de falaise, Gente d’Aqui fut le logement coup de cœur de notre séjour. Outre l’emplacement idéal pour visiter la côte est de l’île et les cabanons très confortables, nous avons été séduits par la gentillesse de notre hôte Joao, du cuisinier José, et des jeunes du village avec qui nous avons partagé un délicieux dîner. A recommander à 100% si vous voulez découvrir la vraie vie de Sao Tomé !"
