Appartements au Zimbabwe

"We liked the location and the view. We liked the kitchen, and the comfy beds. It was quiet. And we liked the view (Yes, I´m repeating it!)."

Only 1 bathroom on the main floor and bedrooms on a different floor (yes, I knew it when I booked it, but it deserves mentioned as this apperas to be a general problem everywhere in Norway). Wifi did not work, even after calling the owner. We had to call and then mess around to get the heating to work in one room. There was parking but the host suggested that we park down by the street -- DOWN the hill, in the pouring rain. There should be better organized and marked parking spots per apartment (There are 3 at the location, sharing parking).

Un peu froid dans la maison du fait de la météo.

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

"Le logement est bien équipé. Possibilité de préparer le repas. Environ 1/4 à pied de la gare."

Pros ==== • Excellent location • Reasonable price • Good value for money • Free parking • Clean apartment • Clean linens • Very large apartment • Comfortable beds • Good service • Kitchenette • Lots of electrical outlets in the rooms • Electric kettle • Fridge • Pleasant bathroom • Night lights by the beds"

Disadvantages i============ • No breakfast • No AC but it wasn't an issue since we came on Sep • Stairs and no elevator but only 1 floor • Diminished lighting in room * No light in the parking entrance is very dark at night

Sería ideal que hayan barandas en las escaleras.

Manque espaces de rangement pour les vêtements pour les longs séjours. Certains accès des meubles sont fermés à clé. Pas de programme français à la télévision ( dommage ).

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

"Un hôte (swazi) drôle et très sympathique. C est une vraie expérience que de dormir dans ces huttes ( surtout quand il y a des orages !!!) nous avons adoré expérience et les projets de vouloir proposer dans le futurs de meilleurs sévices feront que cela va monter en gamme. Nous recommandons pour une déconnexion avec le quotidien qui sera au rdv."

"Wifi was excellent, good location, good price, quiet place, the double bed was comfortable enough, there was always hot water."

The single bed was not comfortable (on one side I was feeling that I was sinking). The A/C wasn't working because the remote control was missing. I contacted the host, he said that he will take care of it, but he did not. To be honest, it wasn't so hot and for most days I did not need the A/C. However, for the last few days of my stay I could really use the A/C, especially at night. The shared fridge could be cleaner. The bathroom did not have a window, it only had a kind of fan on the ceiling which did not work particularly well. As a result, some unpleasant odors persisted and the waters caused by showering could not evaporate very quickly.
