Chisinau Hotel

"L’établissement a répondu très rapidement par message à mes demande . Check in rapide . Chambre basique d’époque soviétique mais plutôt confortable. La propreté était satisfaisante, mobilier ancien . Bagagerie sécurisé Petit dej inclus ( petit pain à la viande ou pomme de terre plus un café ou un thé ) Il faisait un peu froid dans la chambre mais nous avions un chauffage d’appoint , ce qui était suffisant pour nous . L’eau chaude pour la douche met du temps à venir mais nous avions été prévenu lors de l’entrée . Le pommeau de douche était un peu cassé ! Le personnel est souriant et gentil . Confort sommaire mais très bien pour 2-3 nuits"

"Chisinau hotel is probably the last true Soviet hotel in Chisinau after Cosmos closed its gates Yes, it is little bit overpriced and whole building is stuck in 70s, but that's the point why we chose this hotel Staff is nice, hot water is available after few minutes, elevator works, it's old, but it's clean The location is great, 24 hours supermarket next door hairdresser at premises"

"50 euros per night is a little bit steep, you can definitely find better value, but not the nostalgic feeling room was cold and heather didnt work, but we survived after few glasses of brandy breakfast is just a coffee and "fornetti" pie, but better than nothing"

"I honestly don't really understand why this place gets so many bad reviews here. This is a very nice hotel, in a very good location. My room was freshly repainted and it was probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. Staff was aslo very helpful and nice. If you like the classic soviet-style atmosphere, this place is a must! Would recommend it anywas tho."

"WOW - what a place to stay and feel like you’re really in Moldova. The staff were so kind and friendly conversations. We arrived at 9am from a sleeper train from bucharest to Moldova ( 5 hours before check in!) and we were able to check into our room early free of charge - which was really excellent. Of course the room is outdated but it is full of charm and it’s the exact reason why we booked this hotel. The bed was clean and comfy, the bathroom was very clean and hot water was no problem. We were given free vouchers for coffee and pastries in the morning too which was a nice touch. We loved our 2 night stay and a piece of my heart is left here! Love from England!"

"A piece of history, a historic landmark. Comfortable, quiet, clean room, fridge, good views, quiet. Friendly staff at the reception. Sure, some refurbishment would be welcome but this is well reflected in a low price. I would gladly stay again. For those who expect something else, there are plenty other options in Chisinau."
