"Nous sommes arrivés un peu par hasard chez Lili, et ce fut une agréable découverte. Petit hôtel intimiste avec sa charmante plage privée (beach club accessible aux clients de l’hôtel). La vue est magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie confortable, tout était très propre. Lili s’est montrée très disponible."

"Personnellement, cela ne nous a pas dérangés, mais il faut savoir que la connexion wifi n’est pas très bonne et que l’hôtel est assez éloigné (trop pour que cela se fasse à pieds en tout cas) de la zone touristique située au nord (où arrive également le ferry). Vous avez toutefois de nombreux taxis, vous pouvez louer une voiturette ou un scooter, et enfin il y a une ligne de bus qui passe toutes les 30min et qui fait le tour de l’île ! Nous avons aimé le côté déconnexion offert par la localisation, le Nord était à notre sens trop bruyant et agité, mais cela peut être un inconvénient pour d’autres personnes."

"La douche a un gros problème de débit d’eau. Pas de pression et l’eau arrive longtemps après fait couler l’eau. La robinetterie est très abîmée et mériterait une révision. Le petit déjeuner dépendant du restaurant qui n’est pas gérer par la même personne pose certains problèmes, notamment un accueil plutôt désagréable et une négociation permanente."

"La communication très facile et rapide, les bons conseils de notre hôte, le confort de notre chambre, la jolie plage privée, le calme de l’endroit. C’est tout au sud de l’île et le nord est bondé de monde…avis à ceux qui préfèrent la tranquillité. Un énorme merci à Lily, notre hôte tellement gentille et serviable."

"Le petit déjeuner est inclus dans le restaurant attenant à l’hôtel mais géré par une personne différente. 3 minis triangles de pain toast et quelques fruits…c’est un peu cheap…le restaurant est bon mais les prix exorbitants…plus cher qu’en suisse !!!!! Sinon, tout était parfait"

"Great breakfast at a very nice restaurant. Lily, the motel manager, couldn't have been better! The beach was great and the view was too!"

"private beach with a nice view and crystal clear water. The hotel provided us with a baby bed upon request. It was nice to stay in the south end of Isla mujeres away from the over crowded and hectic playa Norte. It’s walking distance to the gerrafon beach club that has some nice snorkelling areas."

"the room was very dark and not very clean (stains on the walls). In the garden and on the terasse outside the room there are so many mosquitos that you can’t sit outside and chill or have the door to the room open. A mosquito net over the bed would have been nice. The restaurant is not part of the hotel, so the breakfast is in another restaurant down the road (expect slow service and waiters demanding tips every morning, as service charge is not part of the included breakfast. It might be custom on the island, where there’s a huge tipping culture. Didn’t experience this other places in Mexico). The restaurant at the hotel is super pricey and the staff seems grumpy with the fact that the hotel guests have access to the beach without buying anything in their posh bar. It seems like they don’t have many costumers (wonder why!), so the general vibe is just not chilled and the staff seems tense. It’s a bit sad that the place is run like this, and there’s not really a restaurant or bar at the hotel where you’d want to hang out in. There was no wifi in our room for five out of seven days. This place was unfortunately also the only place in Mexico where we saw the white dotted dengue mosquito (in the day time on the private beach and just outside our room). I’m sure you can find it in many other places, but we didn’t want to take any chances (was travelling with a baby), so we hardly used the private beach. This is of course not the hotels fault, but just a fact that really put a downer to our stay there. We might as well have stayed in a cheaper air bnb further in the island."

"Maria's Kan Kin was fabulous, the location on the beach is fabulous and the room we stayed in was decorated in a lovely way. Lily our host was absolutely fabulous, kind and helpful - she is a gem!"

"Beautifully decorated, cosy and overlooking the ocean. Beautiful beach and nice for swimming. Loads of fish can be seen in the morning. Lily was exceptionally friendly and nice and very attentive. She is very natural, real and makes you feel very welcomed."

"Perhaps the restaurant has some place for improvement. They close way too early and although the service is good it could be improved further. The restaurant needs to purchase a good coffee machine !"
