"Excellent emplacement proche de Christchurch, idéal pour se ressourcer à l’arrivée en NZ ou se détendre avant le départ ! Superbe jardin et petite terrasse particulière devant la chambre. Très bon accueil de Katy et de son mari qui sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Petit déjeuner continental ou Néo-Zélandais au choix. Un très bon souvenir."

"Choose it without hesitaion plz. It is a fantastic experience. The owners are full of passion and kindness during our stay and helps a lot about our journey & schedule the breakfirst time . The garden and the local dedicates (lambs) are marvelous , and the hosts are so willing to share & hear & care . That's why it is not only an accommodations but also a wonderful experience to show the New Zealand hospitaility. Ps:The dog is really really really sweet."

"We flew into Christchurch as we wanted to start our NZ adventure on the South Island. We arrived in the morning and Cathy & Grant let us check in early. Once settled, they suggested some ideas for that afternoon as well as several options for lunch & dinner . All of there recommendations were great. The location of the lodge is in a peaceful garden with a stream flowing through the back yard. We had a great night’s sleep as it has to be one of the quietest places in New Zealand. We spent the next day in Christchurch and a second peaceful night of sleep and we were well on our way to time zone adjustment and ready to explore more of the South Island. Thanks Cathy & Grant"

"The garden is impressive. The room is very lovely. There are many details in the room we can feel that they really try to ensure every guest get good rest. Because our stay is also the first day of Chinese New Year, the hostess made us the traditional Chinese cookies. We all really enjoy them, especially my father. We also have a very hearty dinner. We really appreciate their host, which makes our last stay in New Zealand memorable. If we come back to New Zealand, we will definitely visit them again. BTW, their bulldog Pluto is so lovely, will definitely miss her as well."

"We absolutely loved our stay. We were able to bring our wee 3yr old King Charles Cavvie, and she was greeted and welcomed by the beautiful owners. We were made feel like we were coming home. The views, the conversation over a wonderful cooked breakfast, the attention to detail on every level. We have stayed in many an Airbnb, and this was like nothing we have ever experienced on a hospitality level... and that is saying something. The beautiful grounds and home are a credit to the owners, Do yourself a favourif your unsure....just book it, stay and you wont regret. Also, we ate dinner at the local The Laboratory , the staff, the service, the food, the atmosphere, also felt like we were home among family and friends."

"The lodge was beautiful. Kathy and Grant were such lovely hosts. The breakfast was amazing and the care of the hosts was second to none. Would highly recommend and we would love to stay again."

"The weather was amazing (30 degrees most days). We were there for a cricket tournament and when we came back to the property at night there was no air conditioning or fans for the rooms. It’s not a major problem though. It’s probably a nice to have."
