"Un immense coup de cœur ! Jeanet est une hôte absolument adorable, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours aux petits soins pour notre confort. Les petits-déjeuners sont exceptionnels : copieux, variés et entièrement faits maison (pain, yaourts, brioches, confitures…), un vrai moment de bonheur chaque matin. Je me suis régalée ! La décoration, atypique et pleine de charme, rend l’endroit chaleureux et unique. Depuis la terrasse, la vue sur le lac de Queenstown est tout simplement à couper le souffle. Chez Jeanet, on se sent immédiatement comme à la maison, dans une atmosphère douce et accueillante. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’y retournerai sans hésiter !"

"Janet est une hote parfaite ! Le lieu est magnifique avec une superbe vue sur les Remarkables. La chambre était cosy et confortable. Tout est bien équipé. Je n’ai pas tester le jaccuzzi mais il avait l’air ok ce qui doit être un plus après le ski ! A 5 m’ du centre et 10 mn de l’aéroport. Un excellent rapport qualité prix pour queenstown !"

"Well decorated throughout and lovely plush carpeted floors. Warm, clean very well organised. I booked the larger room with en-suite bathroom, so had a beautiful view of the nearby lake and mountains. Breakfasts were a lovely continental mix of homemade muffins, sourdough, pancakes, fruits, cereal, chia &yoghurt and boiled eggs. Lovely attention to detail with the little tea/coffee station, electronic key access to the property to aid with early departures and good quality bedding. I’m only sorry I didn’t leave enough time to enjoy the hot tub after my long walk on the third day. Wonderful host and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for couples and solo travellers such as myself (attending a friends wedding). The other rooms had the option of a shared bathroom, which may not suit some people, but please see photo below, it was a very nice and well thought out shared bathroom."

"It wasn’t an issue for me, because I was using taxi’s to get about, but it’s worth being aware the property is near the top of a residential area and it’s a reasonable incline to walk up and down to the main road. Once you’re up and out for the day it’s not an issue."

"I'm glad we picked this place to stay, because it was fantastic! Tasty brekkie every morning, and tasty coffee and chai. Janet and the girls (and Miss Kitty!) were lovely hosts, it was great chatting with them, and definitely helped to sound out our more ill-advised plans with locals. Our room was coziness itself, and the view was remarkable (pun intended). The bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home with us; I still miss it. 11/10, couldn't be happier, thanks ladies!"

"My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Each morning we enjoyed a lovely, freshly prepared breakfast that was a perfect start to our days exploring the area. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!"

"The warm hospitality of the host, Janet. We also loved the overall vibe of the accommodation as it felt like home away from home. The bed in our room is so comfortable and the room itself is very tidy. The shared bathroom and toilet are also clean, and are supplied with sufficient toiletries and body and skin care products. You'll only need yourself and your clothes for the stay as almost everything you need is already provided. Breakfast is basic, but is generously enough to get your morning fill (the bread is homemade so it's guaranteed fresh). P.S. Please note that this is a B&B (bed and breakfast) -- a house that is converted to a holiday accommodation so don't expect for something similar to a hotel service. Also, the accommodation is housed with a sweet and friendly cat, Miss Kitty. She'll greet every guest in the receiving area but is not allowed to enter the bedrooms."

"Not that I don't like, the B&B's location is a bit uphill with quite narrow street as access. If you have a car rental, you need to park it on street, and have to walk up around 100-150 meters up. Not ideal for someone with large luggage unless you are physically fit to carry it up in stairs."
