"Good location along the corniche and within walking distance of souk and castle. Staff was accomodating and provided us with an upgrade as we were not impressed with the room on the ground floor that was first offered to us. Very clean, good shower and decent internet. Would stay there again if Sohar had more to offer to tourists."

"The manager seems to have missed his/her vocation as a practioner of law. To compensate for this clients are bombarded with a long list of do’s and many more don’ts. Like don’t fill the water cooker with milk, which is a difficult thing to do as there is no water cooker. One is also not allowed “to massage the bed with oil”. Luckily, it seems that one can massage the bed without oil, which might come in handy as the mattress is on the firmer side. It would not hurt the hotel to somewhat tone down this overly contractual approach."
