Big Mountain Hostel

"Superbe auberge de jeunesse Le personnel est accueillant, sympathique et de bons conseils. La chambre était bien agencée et spacieuse, le lit confortable et la salle de bain très bien (il manquerait juste une ou plusieurs étagères dans la salle de bain pour que ça soit parfait). Il y a beaucoup d'espaces de vie (à chaque palier) qui sont très agréables, il y a une bonne ambiance générale mais pour autant le soir il n'y a pas trop de bruit. Le petit déjeuner est compris dans le prix ce qui est super. Il y a aussi une grande cuisine à disposition. Bref, auberge de jeunesse parfaite pour tous.tes les baroudeurs.euses qui souhaitent un pied à terre confortable pour aller randonner autour de Huaraz."

"Bien situé au centre de Huaraz Dortoir calme et propre Agence de voyage au rez de chaussée ce qui est pratique pour réserver des excursions. Le personnel est très sympathique, disponible et donne de bons conseils pour l’acclimatation à l’altitude et les excursions Pizzeria très bonne et bons prix au dernier étage. Très bon rapport qualité prix avec un petit dej basique inclus"

"Good location very close to the plaza de armas and most shops and tour agencies. They also have a tour agency in the same building as the hostel but I didn't book with them so can't say anything about that. The rooms are spaceous as are the common areas: they have a pool table, table tennis, roof top terrace and small climbing gym (pretty unique I think!). Staff was always superfriendly and knowledgable and could help with arranging day trips or multi-day trips. The hot showers are a blessing after a long day out :)"

"Don't get too excited for the included breakfast. It's only plain bread, butter and jam. There's hot water for tea and coffee which is nice. But breakfast only starts at 7.30 which is too late for everyone going out for hiking. The street in front of the house is quite loud even at night so be sure to bring earplugs. The whole place has an air of not being renovated for several years. I personally didn't mind, because all amenities work reliably but don't expect anything too facy."

"I stayed here 4 nights. It’s a very well-located hostel full of fellow backpackers. The staff was very nice and helpful. There are plenty of common rooms with table games, billiards table, bouldering wall and a bar. You can book tours here as well."

"It is a very social hostel. The staff is great and they even remembered my name. They clean the room once a day. All the rooms have a private toilet. They have a Terrasse, plenty of spaces to hang out and socialise, a billiard table, table football, ping pong, etc. location is amazing, in the midst of the centre and close to everything. Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis."
