La place principale fait face à la spectaculaire Sukkiennice (les halles aux tissus) un lieu de commerce dont les passages tortueux vendent des marchandises comme on les faisait il y a des siècles.

"Nous avons occupé la derniere chambre de l'hotel car ce jour la les vols etaient annulés à cause du brouillard Nous sommes arrivés aprés miniuit ,le personnel nous attendait avec plaisir Tous était bien :le lendemain il fallait trouver un taxi pour nous emmener en République tchèque: les dames de la reception ont fait l'impossible pour nous en trouver un, et on a pu prendre un vol de secours a temps pour rentrer en France Je voudrais les remercier car elles sont competentes ,souriantes et gentilles .L'hotel est tres sympa je recommande"
