"Beautiful hotel and enchanting grounds, a great spot for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was very good as well, both at dinner and in the morning. We stayed for a wedding and the catering and service provided was great. The room did show its age a little but everything worked and the beds were very comfortable."

"The location is a little remote if you don't have a car. While the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to arrange transport options on the spot, they do not provide any useful information on the hotel website (aside from flagging their airport shuttle). Nor did they respond to contact requests via email or WhatsApp ahead of time. Just having a more elaborate "getting here" section on the website could go a long way in helping guests find their way. The dry sauna also struggled to heat up, though this was partly due to other guests forgetting to properly shut the door. Steam sauna worked much better. There are free bikes to use at the property to explore the surroundings - a great idea, but the bikes in question are mostly in very poor condition, making them effectively unusable. The water quality in the taps also varied a little, and there were few options available to get bottled water beyond buying it from the hotel at restaurant prices."

"A charming stay with a very lovely vibe, surrounded by nature and set in a rustic, old-fashioned building—perfect if you enjoy that classic style! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it fits the character of the place. A peaceful and unique experience overall!"

"Everything! It was perfect idea for escape for a few days when weather is not the best. Very pleasant place, large and comfortable room. Travelled with our cat and he also liked it :). First day we probably were alone, as we were served beautiful table for breakfast. But buffet next days was also very nice. Ladies at reception were very attentive to make our stay comfortable. There is an elevator, but we lowed to walk beautiful staircases. Loved the small pool and beautiful SPA treatment. Sitting next to Fireplace with its special smell of burning wood early morning, while it is raining outside is one of the very special memory about our stay. Restaurant offers good choices, beautifully served. Charming place, real palace experience, highly recommended"

"We ate in the restaurant for my daughters birthday. She had a different meal to all of us and a few hours later she started throwing up and continued the whole night When we checked out the next day the girl at the reception just said sorry and she would tell the restaurant. I expected more perhaps no charge for the meal. But to defend them this is the only bad experience I have ever had there"
