Chalet magnifique, agréable à vivre, piscine dans un jardin luxuriant avec les palombes qui roucoule, observations d'oiseaux exotiques , hôte sympa, parle français et anglais,possibilité de cuisiner, j'ai adoré mon séjour chez Santiago."

Despite the well balanced breakfast, I ate the same breakfast for the entire period of my stay. This was predictable and monotonous . The breakfast was standard, meaning that I had no choice in terms of portion, variety and pricing. I expected to find cooking pots and utensils in the kitchen to allow me the option of cooking and preparing anything . I wish the hotel provided information on places to be visited within the vicinity and information regarding the most recent COP29

Il y aurait pu y avoir au moins un menu ou deux en anglais. C'est pas toujours facile car seul le néerlandais et l'allemand sont disponible.

Je déplore l’attente pour l’accès à la chambre à mon arrivée. Les chambres sont censées être prête à partir de 15h et j’ai eu la mienne à 16h30. Nous étions assis dans le hall et personne n’est venu nous prévenir qu’elle était enfin prête, il fallait qu’on se présente à l’accueil pour avoir les bracelet et y accéder.

The location was a little to the edge of the city but that may be a good thing for some looking for peace & quiet. The decor is a bit dated

En el gimnasio no funcionaban las maquinas. La habitación está bien es limpia y cómoda pero se podría actualizar un poco la decoración. Por ser un resort en el precio podría estar incluido el desayuno

Route un peu bruyante

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.

Des chambres spacieuses et confortables donnant sur le port avec vue sur le coucher de soleil. C'était magique. Un personnel absolument adorable comme si nous étions en famille. L'excursion de snorkelling et sur l'île Wasini organisé par l'hôtel avec leur capitaine Hassan était super et nous avons vu plein de dauphins 🐬 :)"
