"Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Christian le Manager avec sa gentillesse et son beau sourire. Les petites villas individuelles étaient très confortables. La cheminée dans la chambre, les bouillottes au couché très appréciées et la literie très confortable. Nous avons aussi apprécié notre voiture lavée ainsi que nos chaussures de marches après la visite aux gorilles! Tout le personnel est prévenant et très souriant. Etablissement fortement recommandé aussi pour sa bonne situation pour la visite aux gorilles. Nous espérons revenir bientôt ! Dominique Stulemeijer-Florence et Philippe Demange"

"Sambora is a hidden gem! The rooms are thoughtfully and tastefully put together with every creature comfort you would want! The bathrooms are huge and modern! We loved all the touches from the slippers, to the personalised cards, the crackling fires in the rooms and the food was a real show stopper! Every meal was delicious and exciting! The team are so friendly ( big shout out to Khai!) and are hands on and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home!"

"Our stay at this boutique-style hotel was truly exceptional. With only about 10 lodges, the intimate and cozy atmosphere made us feel like we were part of a small, close-knit community. One of the highlights was the shared dining experience – a long table where all the guests gathered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner within a set window of time. This unique setup created a warm and inviting environment, making every meal feel like a gathering of family and old friends. It added so much depth to our stay, turning what could have been a standard getaway into a memorable and heartwarming experience. The perfect combination of comfort, charm, and connection. "We had a truly amazing stay here. The rooms are spacious, the staff is absolutely wonderful and the food...wow! The entire meal time is an experience by itself. I also loved the idea of sharing the table with the other guests, which gave us an opportunity to meet new people and hear new stories. It felt like home away from home."

"I am not sure anything I would write would do justice to this place.....The real luxury came from the Staff at Sambora. They are simply unique and impossible to forget. Their kindness, communicative smiles, generosity, attention to details, their joy (the dancers put a smile on your face from the moment you arrive), talent (the Chef is wonderful), and sympathy....I could go on and on."
