"This is a small and cosy hotel with old world charm, situated close to the railway station. The street, however, is very quiet. The breakfast is excellent and it is served in a charming common room. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful small bed and breakfast style hotel. Delightful staff and owner. Really good location, short walk to shops, restaurants and to explore this very pretty small town."

"Be prepared for narrow steep staircase and smaller rooms, as this hotel is located in a very old home. However this is part of its charm."

"Perfect location when taking the ferry to Bornholm. Early breakfast tray provided."

"Not a thing"

"Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Breakfast was simple but delicious and you can always make some tea or coffee in the common room."

"Shower was small and a bit cold but everything was clean and functional."

"Characterful quirky hotel in a very quiet cobbled street very close to both the train station and the town"

"The towels were the smallest and oldest I’ve ever had in a hotel. Really steep stairs ."

"We chose Hotell Backagarden because we were stopping for just one night on our way to a funeral. We chose them because we were expecting to arrive very late and they could accommodate that. Communication beforehand was excellent. We easily found a parking space in the local area although signage was a bit confusing. Rooms were brilliant, breakfast was lovely and our hosts couldn't have been kinder."

"Because it was such a flying visit we didn't get a chance to check out the local area but we are seriously considering a return trip to do so."

"Very lovely rooms filled with beautiful and tasteful decorations. A lot of love has gone into the decor. It is fun too, the little birds on the lamps were great. The breakfast selection offered was wonderful and extremely generous. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly with perfect English. This is a hidden gem! I would definitely stay again if I was in the area."

"Nothing, it was perfect."

"Cozy house with a breakfast area that can be used even in the evening. Centrally located."
