"Petit hôtel dans une ancienne maison de maître entourée d’un magnifique jardin très soigné avec piscine et dépendances. Emplacement très agréable dans le quartier résidentiel verdoyant très calme, à quelques centaines de mètres de la plage, des restaurants et des commerces. Bonne literie et personnel au petits soins .Petit déjeuner généreux dans une jolie salle donnant sur une belle terrasse fleurie. On peut se retirer au bord de la piscine sous les arbres et entendre le chant d’oiseaux ou encore lire dans la magnifique bibliothèque-galerie ancienne. Accès au centre ville facile depuis la Rambla longeant la côte."

"Notre séjour au Biblo était parfait. Peut-être l’unique défaut fut le manque de pression d’eau dans la douche dans notre salle de bain. Notre chambre ne faisait pas partie des rénovations plus récentes."

"La chambre était très bien équipée .Avec un fauteuil .Et 2 canapés. Pour lire c'était très bien. Tès bon petit déjeuner. Avec des fruits. Et un vrai jus d'orange. La chambre n'était pas dans l'hotel lui-même mais dans le jardin pas loin de la piscine. Que personne n'utilise. Donc c'était très calme. De plus l'hotel est situé dans le quartier carrasco mais pas sur la rembla donc pas de circulations. Et à 10mn en taxi de l'aéroport international."

"This is a beautifully maintained building with large clean rooms and a caring staff. The breakfast was also good. It is extremely relaxing and the pool area is well appointed. They have a nice library you can sit and chat in. Really great with friends."

"Because there are only a few staff on site, sometimes it is hard to get their attention. They were all so helpful once we did find them. This neighbourhood was perfect for us to visit family. But if it is your first time to Montevideo, it is still half an hour from the center."

"This is a truly beautiful building with very friendly and helpful staff. It’s also rich with culture as there are often film crews carrying out duties for their latest dramas. I highly recommend at least a weekend here as it’s a great location with great shops, cafes, restaurants nearby and the boulevards full of trees meeting in the middle are spectacular. Also, very near the airport and not too far from Montevideo city."

"The hotel is like a Manor, very impressive as you walk in the front door which its classic heritage style, the property was well kept and maintained."

"As its an old house, we didn't realise until it was too late that we had no electricity in the bathroom, so we couldn't use the spa, the hairdryer etc, even charge our phones. A real shame as that's why the rating we give us below 10!"
