"Everything was just beautiful. We had hot weather but it was cool inside and the pool was great. Thé location was close to Normanville for morning swims. We loved the surrounding gardens and eating outside under the grapevines. Everything was good quality and well thought out. It was friendly and relaxing. We loved the personal art and objects collection around the house and the way it was so carefully restored. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with our friends from Sweden who also loved the experience."

"Le petit déjeuner était organisé par nos soins. L'accueil du propriétaire = extra. Le cadre de cette vieille demeure maltaise est remarquable, le calme qui y régnait était très agréable pour notre séjour en famille, pour conclure nous étions chez nous."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez athirige . Le logement était parfait, avec absolument tout ce dont nous avions besoin : de l’eau à disposition, une bouilloire, des chambres très propres et bien entretenues, ainsi qu’une cuisine pratique et une salle pour le petit-déjeuner, où nous avons d’ailleurs très bien mangé. Mais le vrai plus de ce séjour, c’est l’accueil de Nadoun qui nous a reçues comme des reines et a tout fait pour que notre voyage se déroule dans les meilleures conditions. Sa gentillesse et son attention ont vraiment marqué notre expérience. Si vous avez la chance de croiser nadoun, soyez sûrs que votre voyage sera une réussite. Nous recommandons vivement ! 🌟"

"Très beau logement, confortable, doté de tout le confort avec une superbe vue. La terrasse est très spacieuse, tout comme la chambre. L’accès à un lave-linge et un sèche-linge gratuitement est un gros plus. Nous avons été très bien accueillis malgré notre arrivée en avance, des indications pour les activités et les restaurants sont données. Au niveau de l’emplacement rien à redire, suffisamment en retrait pour avoir une belle vue mais assez proche des plages (40min à pied du parc Moreno Ballena)"

"L'endroit est très propre et décoré avec goût, on se croirait chez soit ! Cette maison est un paradis que ce soit pour les adultes et pour les enfants. Il y a un coin jeux extérieur pour eux, et des jouets ainsi que des équipements loisir (draisienne, ballon rebondissant, etc...) à l'intérieur. Les services proposés sont également de qualité et très intéressants !"

"L'arrivée facile grâce à la communication, l'appartement accueillant, moderne, cosy avec une déco très étudiée, l'eau chaude rapide, le calme du site, le parking privé devant la villa, le minibar, sans oublier le paquet de bonbons, spécialité locale."

La lumière de la chambre est vraiment très diminuée avec le lustre boule doré. Une possibilité de lumière graduelle jusqu'à une certaine force serait une bonne idée.

The bathroom.. Especially the one upstairs was not functioning and was not functional. It was spoiled and one had to use a bucket of water to flash. The breakfast provided was quite basic and not worth it.

Die Küche hat nur einen kleinen Unterbaukühlschrank. Das ist arg klein. Geschirr, Tassen und Gläser gab es reichlich, aber leider keine Töpfe. (nur eine kleine Pfanne) Da sollte unbedingt mal ein Topf Set angeschafft werden.

"I stayed here for two weeks during my work trip. The owners, Sandra and her husband, were very friendly and responsive. Before arriving, I checked whether they had a coffee machine in the villa; they made sure I would have one to use when I arrived. They had a brand new espresso machine for me. It was great to have access to good coffee, as Lilongwe's cafe culture is still developing. The housekeeper, Alice, was also excellent—very clean, tidy, and does laundry perfectly. The location is great in a very safe and green area with several tucked away restaurants in 20 -30 min walking distances, but without a car, it is a bit inconvenient to get around. But, this generally applies to anywhere else in Lilongwe. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to be stuck in a hotel room during an extended work trip or if you're visiting Lilongwe for more than a couple of days."

"Breakfast and dinner was superb, a mix between Sri Lankan and western dishes. The team was very attentive for all our needs and the kids loved the pool. Great place to stay for a night or two."

One room had quite an odour (mold probably) from the bathroom, but this is the norm in Sri Lanka usually. Not a big deal. Just close the door to the bathroom.

The walk to restaurants was a little risky as parts had no pavement and some of it is on a busy road. This of course has nothing to do with the property per se but just an observation.

"Lovely place.. super modern, well designed, mod cons, all new, spotlessly clean detached home in the peaceful and bougie suburbs of the city.. Very comfortable, with great natural light. Lots of great modern facilties for eg the warm air in the bathroom. The process was seamless and experience was faultless. The pictures are a true and fair representation."

This place is fantastic, so reluctant to put neg things here! The following tweaks would have made it perfect! A well placed (thicker) hedge at the front could provide more privacy for the small patio area which sits at front of the house (roadside). Shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities are really modern so was surprised no dimmer switch on lights. A lamp could help with soft lighting. More translated material for non Japanese. English in my case.

"Idealne miejsce na rodzinny wypoczynek! Domek położony tuż przy polu golfowym, z pięknymi widokami i mnóstwem przestrzeni do relaksu. W środku czysto, bardzo dobrze wyposażony – niczego nam nie brakowało. Cisza, spokój i pełen komfort sprawiły, że mogliśmy naprawdę odpocząć. Świetna lokalizacja i warunki zarówno dla dorosłych, jak i dzieci. Zdecydowanie polecam – na pewno tu wrócimy!"
