Villas à Guam

"De ligging van Casa Baronesa kan niet beter, direct aan een mooi strand, met achter het huis, gescheiden van het strand via een poortje, nog een stukje privé strand. Het huis is zeer ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Het uitzicht vanuit de slaapkamers op zee is fenomenaal. Verder zijn in de directe nabijheid de nodige restaurantjes te vinden."

De huisraad - met name het bestek en de pannen - was niet op peil en dient te worden aangevuld. Verder zouden een broodrooster en een vaatwasser welkom zijn. Het gemis hieraan heeft de pret echter zeker niet mogen drukken.

"The villa is huge! We loved the location because it was very serene and tranquil. No pretentious resort and loud music! We managed perfectly without the car. We walked a lot and met few local people in the village. People around are very friendly and chilled. The views are beautiful, beds comfortable, pool is a nice size. It was far too big for the two of us but we enjoyed the space thoroughly. We even walked to the Mount gay distillery… fairly long walk but again nice to see the area around. Two old men in the car stopped and asked if we wanted a lift, we thought that was very sweet. We walked few times to Speightstown for food and shopping. I wouldn’t bother with the restaurant Local and Co… very small portions and nothing special. Feels pretentious."

The private chef for us felt a bit too much. It’s nice to be cooked for but the idea of a villa to me is that we are alone and not that we have chef and cleaning lady there during the day. Plus the chef talks too much :) Some days we just cancelled the chef and made our own eggs for breakfast and went to eat in the local restaurant the fish pot which was pricey but very good and walkable. The best mahi mahi fish tacos I have ever had! I think the private chef is probably more viable when you have a larger party.

"Jolly Harbour est une zone vraiment intéressante, à la fois sécurisée et bien équipée (commerces a proximité et gardiennage). La plage est tout simplement exceptionnelle."

Malheureusement pour nous c’etait la période de carnaval et la plupart des commerces étaient fermés durant notre séjour.

"Il s'agit d'un hôtel spécialisé dans le snorkeling et la plongée. Les installations sont assez basiques, les bungalows disposent toutefois de douches et de toilettes. Il ne faut pas s'attendre à une belle plage bordée de cocotiers et d'un hôtel luxueux tel que l'on peut en trouver pour ce prix généralement dans d'autres pays du sud-est. La nourriture, saine, n'est pas très abondante. ll est possible de faire du snorkeling à partir de la plage, notamment lorsque la mer n'est pas trop agitée. Le personnel, très sympathique, est en grande partie constitué de jeunes moniteurs/monitrices de plongée expatriés et passionnés qui vous facilitent l'identification des poissons de coraux. Les sorties de snorkeling sont bien organisées et d'un coût raisonnable. La biodiversité sous-marine est tout-à-fait remarquable tant pour les coraux que pour les poissons."

Pendant la durée du séjour, il faut se préparer à vivre sans internet, ce qui n'est pas forcément un mal.

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect.

"Das großzügige Platzangebot. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Hochstühle für Kleinkinder sowie Babybett sind vorhanden. Im Treppenhaus steht auch ein Schrank mit Büchern und Spielen. Ebenso sind Staubsauger vorhanden. Für eine alte Villa war die Wohnung gut in Schuss."

Zwei Punkte möchte ich anmerken. In der Loggia links neben der Tür, war eine Fenstervertäfelung locker. Die müsste wieder festgeklebt werden. Und der Buffetschrank im Wohnzimmer ist nicht mit der Wand verbunden. Da das Angebot auch an Familien mit Kleinkindern gerichtet ist, sollte hier nachgebessert werden.

Could pave the pathway to the pool a bit better so not to always track dirt to and from the house . The lounge chair area is tight - hard to navigate multiple people finding a seat as there isn’t space to walk around the chairs . For our group that was a bit elderly it wasn’t convenient

Just the garbage in the garden, but nothing to really complain about!

"Căn hộ rất rộng, khu sinh hoạt chung rất phù hợp để tụ tập tự nấu ăn, ăn uống với nhau. Cảnh quan xung quanh rất đẹp, có xe chở đi, và được sử dụng nhiều dịch vụ khác trong khu. Có vài trang thiết bị hơi cũ, đã xuống cấp nhưng cũng đã được xử lý và vệ sinh tốt."

Không hỗ trợ đặt giường phụ (có nhưng tính phí), cảm thấy không hợp lý lắm vì không gian chung rất rộng mà kh thể ở thêm người.

"L'accueil du propriétaire. La villa est très spacieuse et la literie est parfaite. Les 2 garages sont spacieux. Nous étions en WE VTT et donc facile de mettre nos vélos à l'abris. Lavage vélo disponible."

A améliorer L’éclairage dans la chambre de droite . Une seule petite lampe. Rajouter un éclairage général. Et rajouter une lampe de chevet dans la chambre de gauche Mettre dans l'annonce que la Wifi est prévu que pour une seule semaine

It could get rather warm in the common areas since these areas did not have AC. Found that if we turned off the AC in the two upstairs rooms and opened the windows and doors, we got a nice cross breeze.

"There was nothing not to like ! We have stayed in many places all over the world & this villa ticks all the boxes ! I even offered to buy the property from the lovely owner I loved it that much . Marsela the owner / Host is just such an amazing person , Had to grab a selfie before we left , certainly will return"

La lumière de la chambre est vraiment très diminuée avec le lustre boule doré. Une possibilité de lumière graduelle jusqu'à une certaine force serait une bonne idée.

"The house was very charming. The views were gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace! The kitchen was outfitted with lots of dishes, serving dishes, utensils and everything you can think of. We appreciated that."

The kitchen was very cold. The hot tub was older and had a bit of a musty smell and all the jets didnt work. But it was great to have it in a screened in porch. Theres only 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. So if you dont mind people walking into your bedroom to get to the 2nd bathroom.

Location was a little isolated with limited facilities within walking distance.

"We received prompt responses from the manager whenever we had a request. The facilities and bedding were very good, and the area was peaceful with a helpful security guard."

"The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling! The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to them."

Only downside is the location that means restaurants are a short drive away - even the closest (about 1km) is a drive because of the fast narrow road without pavement. The main town of Brezice is worth visiting though for its restaurants, cafes, castle and water tower.

"The villa is clean & spacious. Ilse was very accommodating, she reached out to me just right after my booking was confirmed. She was very attentive with all my queries. My family & friends enjoyed our stay. The villa is huge, and so many sitting areas where you can bond with friends. We look forward of staying there again."

La wifi ne fonctionnait pas bien Il manquait un grand miroir pour se mirer de la tête aux pieds Et ça serait bien d'équiper cette belle terrasse de mobilier de jardin car il y en avait pas.
