"OUI, la personne des clés et moi nous sommes donnés RV et il était là. Il m'attendait au pied de l'immeuble. L'immeuble est très central, calme, propre, situé dans une rue très calme, à deux pas d'une grande avenue commerçante, à 5 min à pied de la place de la République. La chambre est aménagée comme une belle chambre d'hôtel de niveau intermédiaire, bien que nous soyons dans un immeuble locatif. Beaucoup d'espace global, un lit très confortable, salle de bain très propre, un petit frigo et pas mal d'espaces de rangement, et même un fer à repasser. J'ai passé une très belle semaine."

La salle de bains, merveilleusement propre, nécessite quelques petites réparations : le robinet de la douche est bloquée sur la douche haute et le siège de toilette qui ne tient pas en place correctement. J'aurais aussi aimé que la corde à linge puisse servir à qq chose; mais, vu l'aménagement, impossible de s'en servir en l'état. Peut-être faut-il installer un autre système? J'aurais aussi apprécié qu'en plus de la bouilloire, il y ait tasses et cuillères, pour le café ou thé du matin. Une lampe sur le bureau serait appréciable, et plus de ceintres dans la penderie aussi. L'homme qui m'a remis la clé m'a dit que la porte de la chambre se fermait toute seule. En fait, pour garder la porte fermée de l'intérieur, il faut la verrouiller; autrement, au moindre coup de vent dans les couloirs, la porte s'ouvre toute seule. Globalement, de petites corrections qui rendront le séjour encore plus agréable, car je me suis senti chez moi dans cette chambre.

Par temps de neige, si on dort dans le canapé du salon, reveil à 5h du matin par les chasses neige, sinon bar en dessous, mais assez calme, commerce avec camion de livraison très tôt aussi Mais dans la chambre c'est très calme,

"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

"Nous sommes arrivées en dernière minute (un groupe de 7 ). Nous avons été très bien accueillies ils nous ont trouvé de quoi manger à notre arrivée . Un couple adorable faisant l'effort de traduire pour comprendre notre langue ! Appartement propre 👌 nous ne pouvons rien dire de la localisation car c'était un hébergement d'urgence."

Douche un peu petite

"The host and hostess were very kind and helped us check in almost close to midnight. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple and clean."

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

C'est très léger comme inconvénient: le bruit de la rue et les fauteuils de la terrasse peu confortables . La TV est mal positionnée ( sur le mur au dessus du lit ) ce qui fait que l'on ne sait pas la regarder

"Très bien situé, l’appartement est fonctionnel et la Clim est un vrai plus par temps de canicule. Service d’accueil efficace, et la possibilité de laisser les bagages le jour du départ est appréciable"

"Das Appartement hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage mit Blick auf die Burg von Făgăraș sowie seitlich auf die orthodoxe Kirche. Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. Man merkt, dass es gut gepflegt wird! Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieterin ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es doch mal Fragen gibt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!"

On my last sleep of the week I was disturbed by the above resident, moving furniture and banging in the early hours of my departure day. Also just before 3am, being woken up by my TV having it on a different channel to what I had when I turned it off before going to bed believing someone had trespassed into the property and the thought of my belongings being stolen.

Ανυπόφορος θόρυβος τη νύχτα, εξαιτίας νεανικού club που λειτουργεί από κάτω. Χρειάζεται επειγόντως ισχυρή ηχομόνωση για περιορισμό του προβλήματος.

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

No complaints. All was well.

"Il s'agit d'une petite chambre et salle de bain privée chez une famille. Les hôtes sont très discrets mais toujours attentifs et accueillants. Maison très propre et calme, super bien située dans un quartier sécurisé et proche du Parque Boqueron (environ 6$ en Uber), 15/20 minutes environ de Uber pour aller dans le centre Parque Cuscatlán par exemple. Trajet jusqu'à l'aéroport 50 minutes et 30$ environ en Uber. Il y a aussi un petit café à droite de l'entrée de la résidence Amaretto Bistro juste à côté, parfait pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Sinon il y a plein d'autres cafés et restaurants à 5/10 min à pieds (beaucoup de chaînes américaines et centres commerciaux)."

The guy at reception messed up my check-out. He couldn't find my booking, said I must have done it privately, and even asked me what my room rate was! Then I told him it was on booking.com again and he said fine, you can go, (presumably cos my credit card guaranteed payment?) Then as I was about to go to the airport he called me back and said you still need to pay. But this is a fabulous place. That was just a minor frustration.

"Apartamento totalmente remodelado, tem uma óptima localização mesmo perto da praia. A cozinha está bem equipada. A chave tem que se ir buscar ao café “Amadeu” onde o Sr. que nos recebeu foi bastante simpático e atencioso."

"Comfortable and very clean cottage, set in beautiful tropical gardens in a very quiet location around 5 minutes from downtown. Easy to hire a car at a reasonable rate from the hosts. Great pick up and drop off. Very nice pool."

The bathroom is tiny and the shower fitting is loose with limited water flow. But these things did not detract from a great stay.
