Le fait de ne pouvoir payer en carte bleue, seulement en kyat. C’était sans doute possible, mais préférant du cash, elle m’a trouvé des arguments comme les taxes, frais bancaires… et que c’était mieux pour elle.

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

La vue est tout simplement magnifique, un vrai bonheur chaque matin. La piscine est superbe, idéale pour se détendre et profiter pleinement du cadre paradisiaque. Mais ce qui a vraiment rendu notre séjour exceptionnel, c’est le personnel. Toute l’équipe est attentionnée, professionnelle et toujours souriante. Un immense merci tout particulièrement à Thomas, qui nous a énormément facilité notre séjour aux Seychelles. Il a été d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité remarquables, toujours prêt à aider et à donner de précieux conseils. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. It was a bit cold in the room even with the radiators turned all the way up, luckily there were two blankets so I still got a great night sleep!

"le Breakfast, annoncé basique par notre réceptionniste, a finalement été plus complet, donc nous avons été agréablement surpris. Cpdt, quelques tartines de pain et un peut de confiture auraient été les bienvenue, même si pas indispensable. Le Café est bon. l'endroit est paisible et harmonieux, et l armoire réfrigérée a soda, est a portée de main."

Le seul point gênant, a été la serrure de la grosse porte d'entrée d'origine de l endroit, dont le bruit de la serrure fait un peut penser à une serrure de porte de prison et le bruit, peut déranger les gens qui dorment la nuit. cpdt, cet endroit est authentique, et agréable

No hay nada que no me gusto. Lo encontre marsvillos. Todos lugares atraen personas de distintos gustos...si te gusta una experiencia personal en una casa de historio que transmite cultura y preocupacion, esto es

La propriétaire est également adorable et toujours prête à nous aider. Le cadre est magnifique, tout est parfaitement propre et harmonieux, et la nourriture y est délicieuse. "I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

"Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de Varsenik et de son fils Edgar. Ils ont été gentils, prévenants. Nous avons beaucoup discuté et bien ri. Merci à eux de nous avoir parlé de tout ça. Les lits étaient confortables et propres. Les petits déjeuners étaient très bons et locaux."

The price is really good.I have no complain.

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

The air conditioning was rationed a bit much
