Peut être si le camp est rempli de famille à la haute saison les gamins bruyants peuvent reduire l'expérience du désert...

Lits peu conforts. Nourriture assez moyenne vs les standards sri lankais. A part les safaris, pas grand chose à faire sur place car éloigné de tout.

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Kitabi EcoCenter. Nous avions un lodge récent superbe, la vue du balcon sur la forêt était incroyable. Le logement est vraiment réalisé avec goût et nous n'avons eu aucun problème d'eau chaude. Il nous a même été apporté un brasero dans la cheminée car la soirée était fraîche. Nous avons énormément apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, en particulier d'Ariane. Les petits déjeuners étaient très bons et nous avons diné tous les soirs sur place, le restaurant propose de nombreux plats excellents. L'emplacement est parfait pour accéder aux activités du parc Nyungwe, en particulier le tracking des chimpanzés qui débute au milieu du parc (cette activité débutant tôt, l'équipe nous a même préparé un breakfast bag la veille !)."

"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras.

"The property is right on the forest and beach so wonderful forest paths to discover nearby. The staff were super friendly and helpful, giving us a lift into town when we were tired after a long day of biking."

The room was a bit small for two people, with a double bed against the wall.

"We really enjoyed staying at Ursak Camp. The cabins and tents are beautifully designed and create a wonderful atmosphere close to nature. Another big advantage is that you can buy ready-made meals on site, which is very convenient since the nearest grocery stores are quite far away. Everything was very clean, the sauna was excellent, and the food was great as well. The accommodation itself was very comfortable. We truly enjoyed being surrounded by nature — the whole experience was wonderful."

This is not an issue with Ursak Camp itself, but rather a helpful tip for future visitors. Google Maps and Waze often suggest a route through Sinjajevina Mountain. At first the road looks paved and normal, but eventually it ends. In winter there may be snow, and it is easy to get stuck there. There is also almost no mobile signal in that area. It is much safer to approach Ursak Camp through the town of Kolašin and enter from the lower road. The mountain road may be fine in summer, but in winter it is better not to take that route.
