"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

L'absence de prise électrique, il y a seulement une prise USB sur le boîtier qui assure l’éclairage solaire du bungalow. L’autonomie permet tout juste le rechargement du téléphone portable. La configuration de la plage devant le bungalow

"It was near the big mall and all the supplies you need even if it’s far away from the airport."

The wifi sometimes doesn’t work. And just needed to have more kitchen ware other than that the place is amazing.

"A wonderful , basic cabin located in the arguably the best location on the island . Surrounded by acres of exotic fruit and native forest beyond. Birdlife is prolific. This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

Ensure you have bought a local sim-card, loaded with data before arriving. Wifi may not work. Also, before arriving, stop at a supermarket and buy sufficient drinking water for your stay. ( 2 litres per person per day minimum ). Bring mosquito spray for your jungle walks and be prepared to rough it .

"Merci à Paul et Margareth pour leur accueil incroyable. Nous avons passé un moment incroyable avec Paul et la nourriture de Margareth était très bonne. Le jardin est magnifique. La maison est très spacieuse et la décoration d’époque à beaucoup de charme. J’ai pas de mot pour décrire le cadre incroyable qu’est Blue Mountain."

Il faisait juste un peu froid la nuit comme nous étions dans la montagne malgré les couvertures.

"L’accueille, le cadre, la tranquillité c'est ce que je recherchais, le besoin de se ressourcer de s’evader... Un vrai refuge. Même mon fils de 18 ans a aimé ce lieu."

"Beau chalet, intégré dans la végétation luxuriante de Tahiti Nui. Belle décoration, originale, personnalisée et fonctionnelle. Excellente literie! Le plus: la climatisation dans la chambre."

"Wonderful little getaway, greeted by the most charming host and beautiful, peaceful, tranquil surroundings. Saw the sunrise with coffee and breakfast on the private terrace/decking area. A must if you are in the area."
