"The of the water was spectacular. The neighbor’s have a rooster, but I didn’t mind. The host, Lili, went above and beyond to make me comfortable during my stay."

The air conditioning take a little while to fill the room.

"Nous avons bénéficié d'un bungalow très confortable, bien équipé avec une belle terrasse avec petite vue sur le lagon. Les bungalows sont situés à proximité de commerce (10 mn à pied): restaurants, petite épicerie, pharmacie, location de véhicules et pas loin du spectacle de danse Te Vara Nui Village. Un arrêt de bus à proximité. Liana a été très attentive et serviable. Je recommande!"

Tout était appréciable, au niveau de l’emplacement et pour l’espace d’ensemble. La piscine a un petit problème de fuite d’où un niveau de hauteur d’eau un peu bas. Ceci n’a que très peu altéré le plaisir de s’y être baigné.

"J'ai vraiment passé un super séjour. Tout y est neuf, la chambre est spacieuse. Le point +++: c'est juste à côté de la cathédrale et de la vieille vieille. Parfait pour visiter cette très jolie ville."

"A very warm and helpful host who gave us great support. My mother unfortunately injured herself while hiking and he didn't hesitate for long and applied hot compresses with salt. As she could no longer walk, he even gave her a walking frame and drove us personally to the train station on our departure. The location was great. A bit away from the busy main street and yet everything is within walking distance."

You have to get used to the plane's noise. Nothing the property can do about.

"This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

"Un écrin de verdure pour une charmante bâtisse. Même si la route est cabossée pour y arriver elle reste relativement accessible. Une fois sur place, la vue est à couper le souffle. Les chambres sont bien équipées et spacieuses. L'air climatisé est en option mais des ventilateurs sont à disposition. Il y a de quoi garer la voiture dans la cour de la maison. Mais le lieu ne fait pas tout. David, l'hôte, fait toute la différence. D'une gentillesse incomparable, il est à l'écoute des désagréments (pression de l'eau), présent tout en étant discret, nous savons que l'on peut compter sur lui. Il a rendu le séjour inoubliable."

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

The location was a but challenging, nothing to eat close by or to have a walk, but the owner was driving us everywhere, they were so nice

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

Je recommande et merci encore pour ton accueil Christián ! Ps : c'est plus beau et plus charmant que sur les photos"

"It is really decent. Not the best, but very sufficient for me. For 50$, I definitely got more than I expected. Free internet and electricity and kitchen and washing machine."

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.
