Not really any downside about the accommodation. A car is needed as you cant really walk from there into town, but there is on-site parking and taxi services.

We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

Cher, il y a des chambres d’hôtels pour mon cher. Mais c’est bien équipé et bien placé. La vraie amélioration serait de goudronner le petit parking privé. Bon, je suis motard et c’est vrai qu’un parking en caillasse, c’est pas top pour les Manœuvres.

Some noise from other guests at night did affect the stay a little. Still, overall a pleasant experience...

A savoir que la maison, est une maison intelligente qui a deux entrées : une pour les guest et une autre celle de la famille qui est toujours là à notre disposition ainsi que leurs personnels. Donc vous détenez une totale indépendance et aussi vous n'êtes jamais seul. C'est une villa très sécurisée et super propre. Vous pouvez aller de l'avant pour la vente. Bien à vous, Yasmin"

Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

The kitchen was not equipped very well. It is sufficient only for short stays. So if you stay for two or three nights it is OK - otherwise you will not be able to prepare decent meals there.
