Séjours chez l'habitant au Nigeria

Als ik persé iets zou moeten noemen, is het het ontbreken van een kraan en wasbak in het keukenblok. Creatief met afwassen, door vullen van de aanwezige teil met de waterkoker, die je in de badkamer met een kommetje moet vullen, omdat hij niet onder de kraan past 😁 Maar goed, ik vond het zelf gewoon prima zo.

"Il y a eu un problème de réservation. On a réservé la suite mais suite à un bug, on a eu la dernière chambre restante, la plus petite. Un petit tarif de ristourne, mais pas immense. Heureusement ils nous ont installé une moustiquaire au dessus du lit, ça rattrapait le tout et heureusement seulement une nuit... ça suffit pour Varkala"

"Le homestay est situé dans un joli jardin fleuri. Le propriétaire (et le personnel) est sympa. Il nous a organisé notre transfert depuis l’aéroport d’HCM ainsi que celui de notre seconde destination. Les chambres sont propres et l’équipement minimaliste mais suffisamment pour un court séjour. Les vélos sont gratuitement mis a disposition et de belles balades sont accessibles facilement."

Il y a actuellement d’importants travaux d’agrandissement. Le jardin est encombré de matériaux et surtout il y a beaucoup de nuisances sonores qui commencent vers 6h30. Seuls dans le homestay, le propriétaire nous a conseillé de manger dans l’hôtel voisin où nous prenions également les petits déjeuners. Le buffet du soir, bien que varié et bon, reste cher comparé à ce qu’on peut manger ailleurs pour le même prix (17€/pers).

"Endroit très mignon, un accueil très chaleureux, convivial et souriant. On nous a offert plusieurs fois du thé et un petit raccourci mène à la plage. Des lits un peu mous et des draps tout doux. Moustiquaires aux fenêtres ! A côté de la réserve naturelle de Kobuleti en cours d'aménagement, ça vaut le détour."

Pas facile à trouver au vu du système de numérotation des rues du pays, mais une fois qu'on a compris c'est OK ! ^^

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

The location is on 28 minute drive from Masjid e Nabawi. Taxi would be costly.

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

"L'hôtesse des lieux est une personne très généreuse, des déjeuner copieux, jus frais et un très bon café! L'endroit est vraiment magnifique, un grand espace de stationnement, bien protéger et surtout très propres. Nous étions dans une chambre hors de la maison principale et nous étions très bien, à retourner, lit confortable, douche avec eau chaude et beaucoup de pression. Loin de tout, mais pour des nuits avec sommeil un endroit idéal avant un départ pour l'aéroport de Quito."

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

"Если исходить, что это буджетный вариант и не ожидать от него условий отеля 4-5*, то это отличный вариант: в любое время заселят, в любое время можно уехать, в любое время встретят/ проводят из аэропорта, рядом с аэропортом, приятные хозяева, интернет. Останавливался на две по полночи, получилось идеально: прилетел/помылся/поспал/посмотрел город/помылся/поспал/улетел."
