Hotel Gutenbergs is family-run hotel set in the centre of the Old Town of Riga, next to the Dome Square and Dome Cathedral. Located in 17th and 19th century connected buildings, guests can choose between luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings, historical engravings, paintings and antique furniture in one part of the hotel and 300-year old wooden balks, sloping floors and lower ceilings in the other. Decorated in a boutique style, rooms feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini bar, safe and warm blankets. Bathrooms offer a hair dryer and bio cosmetics. Upper class rooms boast a coffee machine for guests and Luxury Suite has bathrobes and slippers. Freshly ground coffee and a wide breakfast buffet with local delicacies are served every morning in Hotel Gutenbergs. Hotel’s gastronomie features a summer terrace above the rooftops of the Old Town and offers meals from seasonal and local products. Reception is open around the clock and collaborateurs will arrange tea, coffee, flowers, tickets to events, tour guides and taxis for each guest. A conference hall with terrace can be booked in advance for different events at an extra charge. Restaurants and pubs, Central Market and Stores, as well as museums and National Opera are within a few minutes’ walking distance from Hotel Gutenbergs. "Cet hôtel est en plein coeur du quartier historique de Riga. J’ai bien aimé avoir un petit frigidaire dans ma chambre (au grenier, 4 ème étage). La douche fonctionnait bien. La chambre était grande avec un décor ancestral. Le déjeuner était délicieux."

"L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans le centre de la vieille ville. Très calme dans une rue où les voitures ne passent pas. C'est un ancien hôtel traditionnel de très bonne qualité. Nous étions tous dans des chambres standards assez petites mais très propres. Un hôtel comme on les aime. Le personnel est aimable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
