"Toute la famille propriétaire est vraiment chaleureuse, accueillante et bienveillante. L’endroit et la chambre sont simples mais confortables et pratiques. La villa se situe en haut de la vieille ville, bon point de départ pour accéder à tout Ohrid (compter 5 min pour descendre au lac… et 15 min pour remonter). C’est très calmes, mais près d’un petit supermarché et d’autres petits commerces (épicerie, bar, restaurant) bien loin de l’effervescence touristique du bord de lac. "C est définitivement l établissement préféré de notre tour en macédoine du nord car il coche toutes les cases: une chambre spacieuse , une très bonne literie , bonne climatisation et SURTOUT une famille aux petits soins pour ses hôtes avec beaucoup de conseils précieux ! MERCI! A noter la possibilité de préparer petit déjeuner voire repas dans une ancienne salle commune où sur la terrasse fleurie On est en haut d Ohrid : mieux vaut prévoir de bonnes chaussures"

"Easy spot to reach by car through the upper gate of the old town. Private parking right by the door of Villa Kale. A fabulous room with a balcony and so much light. Views of the lake and the fortress. Comfy bed, sofa and chair. Great to have the kettle and fridge in the room, I could make tea! There's a mini market around the corner. The hotel is on a hill. There are many steps - but the steps make Ohrid what it is - and it's worth it for the views. And of course our host, Ljupco, was great. Friendly, hospitable and kind. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything to see and do in Loutro. (The picture is the view from our room)"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people we have ever met – he truly went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and at home from the very first moment. His hospitality made a huge difference and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation itself is excellent: spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The apartment is bright and cozy, with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. What really takes your breath away is the stunning view over Lake Ohrid – waking up and enjoying that scenery every day was simply magical. The location couldn’t be better: just a 5-minute walk to the beach and to the Old City, which makes it super convenient whether you want to relax by the water or explore the town’s charm. It’s peaceful yet central, giving you the best of both worlds. We are beyond happy with our experience and can’t recommend this place enough. Without a doubt, we will be coming back again!"

"We stayed here for two weeks in August. Lovely apartment, really clean and comfortable. Fantastic view of the lake and really friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and our kids loved playing with Buddy the resident dog! Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you Stefan and Lubcho!"

"It was phenomenal. The host was super kind and he spoke fluent English. He even offered to give us information about the city, checkpoints, an itinerary and lots of advice about what to avoid and where to go. He was very friendly. The room was very cosy and clean. They clean the rooms every morning, which was very pleasantly surprising! It was very spacious for two people. The bed was very comfy, the sheets were tidy, the towels were very clean too. We had free toiletries as well. The view from the balcony was exceptional. You could see the fortress, the ancient theater, the lake and the mountains at the same time. The location was also convenient, easy to get to by car and we had free parking available which is hard to find in Ohrid. The location was close to lots of different monuments and super close to the city center. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the place. You can pay by card which is also amazing as a foreign tourist."

"This is just personal preference, but I would have loved a small lamp in the bedroom. It would create pleasant atmospheric light at night."
