"Nous avons passé un séjour absolument incroyable dans cet hôtel ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, très confortables et parfaitement entretenues. La vue est tout simplement magnifique, un vrai bonheur chaque matin. La piscine est superbe, idéale pour se détendre et profiter pleinement du cadre paradisiaque. Mais ce qui a vraiment rendu notre séjour exceptionnel, c’est le personnel. Toute l’équipe est attentionnée, professionnelle et toujours souriante. Un immense merci tout particulièrement à Thomas, qui nous a énormément facilité notre séjour aux Seychelles. Il a été d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité remarquables, toujours prêt à aider et à donner de précieux conseils. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. "We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"Magnifique hôtel accessible facilement depuis l’aéroport par le ferry, le petit bateau, ou en voiture. Personnel serviable, quoique un peu lent pour le repas ou les boissons. Possibilité de faire une excursion pour voir les bec-en-sabot depuis la rive de l’hôtel. L’homme qui était à la réception était très serviable et nous a arrangé toutes les excursions et transfert pour l’aéroport. Belle piscine disponible."

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

"Un peu difficile d'accès, c'est la campagne, mais vu que le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport il n'y a pas eu de problème. Au contraire nous étions très bien et au calme."

Le fait de ne pouvoir payer en carte bleue, seulement en kyat. C’était sans doute possible, mais préférant du cash, elle m’a trouvé des arguments comme les taxes, frais bancaires… et que c’était mieux pour elle.

"Petit endroit de paradis, avec un personnel disponible et sympathique. L'emplacement était carrément surprenant (face aux montagnes). Il y a un petit magasin si il y a besoin de petites choses directement sur le camping. J'ai pas eu le temps d'aller à la piscine et au restaurant, mais c'est à mentionner qu'ils sont présents."

Franchement rien du tout. Tout était super.

"I have visited many hotels and villas and I must say this was the most cleanest place I have ever been! The hoast was very warm and welcoming, the room was very clean and warm. I will deffinitely say that it is well located and very close to the sea."

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"Quaint, cozy village house with friendly, hospitable Belgian hosts who speak Bulgarian and will make you feel right at home. If you're into luxury and 5-star hotels, do not book here. This is a great place to stay if you like the countryside, peace and quiet, dogs and smiling faces. Totally recommended! P.S.: The lighting in my Bedroom 1 was state-of-the-art."

Everything was just fine

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

"It was an amazing stay as a solo travel. Everything was good. Staff was very helpful despite the fact I couldn't speak their language. I would definitely return from Bukhara and Samarkand and will prefer Revel Hotel to stay again."

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"Une résidence de "luxe"! Au calme, avec une vue splendide sur la baie de Buncrana. Grande chambre, avec 2 lits dont un double. Accueil sympathique et discret. Un très bon petit déjeuner irlandais, préparé à la demande. Un lieu à conseiller pour visiter les environs. Une place de parking gratuite."

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅
