Séjours chez l'habitant sur les Îles Salomon

"Beautiful house and garden. Lot of trees. Nice pool. Room was comfortable. Back up generator for powercuts was great. Quiet area, close to the sea. Nice owner."

When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us.

C'était parfait

"Absolutely lovely host, allowed me to check in a bit earlier. Fair way from the city centre but easily connected with trams and buses which wasnt a problem. There was a shopping centre not too far away. Was very comfortable and clean and was able to sleep very well. Not too hot, not too cold. Also has a kitchen."

Honestly nothing to complain about. Entrance is in the alley way and up a spiral staircase.

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

Leaving the island.

The location is on 28 minute drive from Masjid e Nabawi. Taxi would be costly.

We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

The kitchen was not equipped very well. It is sufficient only for short stays. So if you stay for two or three nights it is OK - otherwise you will not be able to prepare decent meals there.

"L'hôtesse des lieux est une personne très généreuse, des déjeuner copieux, jus frais et un très bon café! L'endroit est vraiment magnifique, un grand espace de stationnement, bien protéger et surtout très propres. Nous étions dans une chambre hors de la maison principale et nous étions très bien, à retourner, lit confortable, douche avec eau chaude et beaucoup de pression. Loin de tout, mais pour des nuits avec sommeil un endroit idéal avant un départ pour l'aéroport de Quito."
