Villas au Cameroun

"Meget venlige værter, der tilbød at hente mig ved færgen og accepterede sen udtjekning. Belligenheden er helt perfekt ud til kysten, hvor man ser isbjerge drive stille forbi. Ikke sidste gang jeg har været her."

Det har ikke så meget med overnatningsstedet at gøre, men hvis man tager til øen i efteråret (jeg var der i oktober) er der ingen steder at gå ud, da alt er lukket. Det skal man huske da det bliver tidligt mørket og solen står sent op.

La lumière de la chambre est vraiment très diminuée avec le lustre boule doré. Une possibilité de lumière graduelle jusqu'à une certaine force serait une bonne idée.

"The host -Dumisa was very friendly and even though we had issues at the boarder he waited for us to arrive very late at night and escorted us to the place. The house was spacious, clean and good value for money."

"La maison est très bien située, vue sur la mer, terrasse très agréable, quartier très calme. L'intérieur est très cosy, spacieux et extrêmement bien équipé. La cuisine est incroyable."

La literie n'est pas à la hauteur des prestations de la maison. La chambre avec les 2 lits n'est pas prévue pour 2 adultes. Les lits sont un peu courts et un des lits a un matelas tout à fait inconfortable, épais de quelques centimètres .

"I stayed here for two weeks during my work trip. The owners, Sandra and her husband, were very friendly and responsive. Before arriving, I checked whether they had a coffee machine in the villa; they made sure I would have one to use when I arrived. They had a brand new espresso machine for me. It was great to have access to good coffee, as Lilongwe's cafe culture is still developing. The housekeeper, Alice, was also excellent—very clean, tidy, and does laundry perfectly. The location is great in a very safe and green area with several tucked away restaurants in 20 -30 min walking distances, but without a car, it is a bit inconvenient to get around. But, this generally applies to anywhere else in Lilongwe. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to be stuck in a hotel room during an extended work trip or if you're visiting Lilongwe for more than a couple of days."

"The location, setting, aesthetics, service, views, everthing was excellent! The property is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It served as the perfect setting for 5 of us boys to kickback and give the much needed relaxation to our bodies. The views of Machapuchare and Annapurna II & IV are mindblowing and I recommend catching the sunrise over them. The kitchen is well equipped and the house has been done up tastefully. It's less than 1 hour away from the city and is an excellent getaway. Can't wait to be back to this property."

"Very clean, lovely setting, good size, pool lovely and private."

The walk to restaurants was a little risky as parts had no pavement and some of it is on a busy road. This of course has nothing to do with the property per se but just an observation.

"Schönes Haus . Gute Lage. Nicht weit zum Zentrum. Bus um die Ecke. Schlafzimmer und Bäder top. Im EG großes Wohn- und Esszimmer. Alles wie auf den Bildern."

Die Küche hat nur einen kleinen Unterbaukühlschrank. Das ist arg klein. Geschirr, Tassen und Gläser gab es reichlich, aber leider keine Töpfe. (nur eine kleine Pfanne) Da sollte unbedingt mal ein Topf Set angeschafft werden.

"Le petit déjeuner était organisé par nos soins. L'accueil du propriétaire = extra. Le cadre de cette vieille demeure maltaise est remarquable, le calme qui y régnait était très agréable pour notre séjour en famille, pour conclure nous étions chez nous."

The pool is beside a house under construction.

"Breakfast and dinner was superb, a mix between Sri Lankan and western dishes. The team was very attentive for all our needs and the kids loved the pool. Great place to stay for a night or two."

One room had quite an odour (mold probably) from the bathroom, but this is the norm in Sri Lanka usually. Not a big deal. Just close the door to the bathroom.

الكول سنتر سيئ جداً وتم ارسال موقع السكن غير صحيح وتم اخذ مبلغ 1000 درهم تامين واجراءاتهم معقده جداً وكانت الشقه ضييقه وصغيره عكس التصوير

"Everything was just beautiful. We had hot weather but it was cool inside and the pool was great. Thé location was close to Normanville for morning swims. We loved the surrounding gardens and eating outside under the grapevines. Everything was good quality and well thought out. It was friendly and relaxing. We loved the personal art and objects collection around the house and the way it was so carefully restored. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with our friends from Sweden who also loved the experience."

"This property is in a stunning location and perfect for a winter stay. The whole property is phenomenally well equipped and very tasteful. Photos do not do it justice. Be prepared however - you will need a car (or arrange other transport) if you want to go anywhere including a local shop (in Lyngseidat) - we knew this and had organised other transport but do your research!!"

Le logement était parfait, avec absolument tout ce dont nous avions besoin : de l’eau à disposition, une bouilloire, des chambres très propres et bien entretenues, ainsi qu’une cuisine pratique et une salle pour le petit-déjeuner, où nous avons d’ailleurs très bien mangé. Mais le vrai plus de ce séjour, c’est l’accueil de Nadoun qui nous a reçues comme des reines et a tout fait pour que notre voyage se déroule dans les meilleures conditions. Sa gentillesse et son attention ont vraiment marqué notre expérience. Si vous avez la chance de croiser nadoun, soyez sûrs que votre voyage sera une réussite. Nous recommandons vivement ! 🌟"
